Tourism sector holds the potential to become the key economic driver of SOCCSKSARGEN Region owing to its cultural uniqueness and abundant natural resources. Guided with the principle of sustainable tourism, stakeholders recognized the importance of attracting investors that can adequately provide quality products and services. Hence, each LGUs had come up with investment priority projects boosted by programs that will provide attractive incentives to investors. Hence, this Forum which is designed to provide a venue where we could allow the meeting of local stakeholders and prospective investors to talk to their terms hoping an investment deal is consummated.

Co-presented by the Office of DOT USEC Myra Paz V. Abubakar, the Forum conducted last June 9, 2024 at Diamond Hotel, Manila provided a venue for our LGUs and Private stakeholders to present their investment programs and priority projects that need partners/ investors. This include both public and private properties that are offered for partnership.

The TREASURES OF SOX aims to promote SOCCSKSARGEN as a "land of bounty" and established a niche not only at the domestic level but also in the international arena. It also intends to attract more domestic and international tourists to invest in local tourism for the various tourism sites in the region, aside from generating sales from the product presentations and showcases of stakeholders.

The event is headed by the Department of Tourism - Soccsksargen Office in partnership with various region 12 agencies, such as the DTI, DA, BFAR, TESDA, DENR, ATI, PIA, local government units, the association of tourism officers, and SOX (Soccsksargen) Travel & Tour Operators.
