Municipal Mayor, Hon. Romeo K. Salda together with Municipal Local Government Operations Officer, Ma. Teresa Mangangey joins seven Benguet municipalities at the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) awarding ceremony at The Manila Hotel last December 9, 2024.

The municipality was commended through an SGLG marker and Php 1,153,000.00 incentive fund to sustain and further develop programs.

The Seal of Good Local Governance is an annual assessment and award program recognizing LGUs for their performance and compliance with existing laws. Specifically, the evaluation was based on 10 governance areas:

2. Disaster Preparedness
3. Social Protection and Sensitivity
4. Health Compliance and Responsiveness
5. Sustainable Education
6. Business-Friendliness and Competitiveness
7. Safety, Peace and Order

With the theme, "Christmas in the eyes of a child", witness the Christmas season like a child would, as we open with the Lighting Ceremony on December 2, 5:30 PM at the Municipal Grounds.

A dazzling showcase of talent and brilliance will take place during the Talaw: Light and Dance Contest on December 4, 5:00 PM at the Municipal Grounds as the different barangays of La Trinidad will go head-to-head in their best choreographies and light costumes.

As the season is known for giving, the different offices of the LGU shall identify daycare centers and coordinate with them in the Community Gift Giving from December 4 to 11.

Two Saturdays are also set to hold the Concert at the Park on December 7 and 14, 5:00 PM at the Municipal Park, where church choirs are invited to render their Christmas pieces.

The most awaited Lights Parade will be on December 14, 6:00 PM starting from KM 6. to the Municipal Grounds.

Additionally, a Diskwento Caravan will be present on December 16-17 at the Municipal Grounds. This is in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry, where quality products will be sold at affordable prices.

Amidst all these events, a Food Fair of local products from December 2-22 will be on display at the Municipal Park.

Embrace the magic and enchantment the Yuletide Season brings and be part of the different activities La Trinidad has to offer!

We wanted to let you know that our current admission rate will be available until the end of this year only. If youโ€™ve been planning to visit, nowโ€™s the perfect time to come and enjoy the farm!

Over the past year, weโ€™ve been busy growing and improving for you. Weโ€™ve expanded our tour areas, adding two beautiful new sections for you to explore. Plus, our nursery now boasts additional hundreds more varieties of plants (for sale and display) this year to our current, ready to delight both new and returning guests.

Starting January 2025, our rates will be adjusted to 150 for general admission and 120 for seniors and PWDs. We hope you understand this small increase, as it helps us continue providing you with an even better experience.
