Taiwan has extended for another year the Filipinos' visa-free privilege.

Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Filipinos, except those holding diplomatic or official/service passports, are eligible for the visa exemption program, with a duration of stay of up to 14 days effective August 1, 2023.

The visa-free program for Filipinos resumed on September 29, 2022. Prior to the extension, it was set to expire on July 31, 2023.

Context: According to an immigration experience posted on Tiktok, may IO raw na naghanap ng yearbook to prove the traveler’s graduation. She didn’t have one but had her wacky graduation pictures on her phone so that was counted as her proof. 😭

PS: She wasn’t able to board the plane because the gate closed before she was let through.

Congratulations! AirAsia (airasia) has been crowned the World's Best Low-Cost Airline at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2022 👏🏼

Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted said AirAsia had redefined low-cost air travel in Asia and despite the recent post-pandemic challenges, continued to be a firm favourite with customers.

The Skytrax awards were decided by a survey of 14.3 million customers from more than 100 nationalities who reviewed over 300 airlines from September 2021 to August 2022.

Pahayag ng Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) sa lumabas na pag-aaral ng Bounce Luggage Storage na "world's worst business class airport" ang Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

"Several news outfits report on the recent 'study' claiming that the country's main gateway has been rated as the world's worst business class airport. According to some news articles, the rating was based on a study by Bounce Luggage Storage, compiled by using reviews aggregated via the blog businessclass.com and Skytrax. Bounce Luggage Storage is a luggage storage business that operates in several airports in the United States (US) and Asia but has no operation whatsoever in the Philippines," pahayag ng MIAA.
