The Pipe Organ of Feng Shan Presbyterian Church in Kaohsiung, Taiwan was successfully dedicated on December 1. Our company had the privilege of adding the Swell Division and Pedal Division of the 2001 Pels organ. A tedious but worthwhile project which we enjoyed very much. Many thanks to Zing More Music Instrument Co, Ltd. and the congregation of Feng Shan Presbyterian for entrusting the project to us.

In celebration of the company's 30 years of existence, Diego Cera Organbuilders together with the Philippine Embassy in Moscow is excited to present two great Filipino artists, organist Armando Salarza and soprano Stefanie Quintin to Russian audiences in the cities of Vladivostok, Novosibirsk and Moscow from November 26 to December 6.

HEADS UP! You are invited to witness the arrival of the parts of the Grand Mechanical Pipe Organ.

The parts of the Pipe Organ will be delivered to the Cathedral on Tuesday, August 20. The expected time of arrival is 8:00 AM. We invite you to join us together with the members of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), Parish Finance Council (PFC), and the Cathedral Liturgical Music Ministry (CLMM) in the blessing of the parts and a simple welcoming programme at the Cathedral Patio. This will commence the installation of the Pipe Organ which will take 2-3 months.

The post-conciliar instruction Musicam Sacram of 1967 tells us: "The pipe organ is to be held in high esteem in the Latin Church, since it is its traditional instrument, the sound of which can add a wonderful splendor to the Church's ceremonies and powerfully lift up men's minds to God and higher things" (no. 62).

In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the completion of the Bamboo Organ, the Bamboo Organ Foundation, Inc. has prepared seminars and lectures for Church musicians to gain a better understanding and deeper sense of their service. The "𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐤𝐚𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐞𝐠𝐨 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒" on July 20 will be especially meaningful as we invite guests to share their knowledge and expertise about Liturgical Music.

After 8 years, we were again able to check and service our Opus 16. Good Hope School, Hong Kong. The organ has see through acrylic panels on the console and lower part of the case to let the students see the inside mechanics of the pipe organ.

TODAY, the Philippine Embassy in Russia had the honor to receive Mr. Cealwyn Tagle, Company Head and Principal Organ-Builder and Designer following his trip to Novosibirsk, Siberia to conduct maintenance on a church pipe organ that was installed by Las Piñas City's Diego Cera Organbuilders, Inc. (DCOB). Fr. Janez Sever, SJ of the Inigo Cultural Center and Library - Novosibirsk also called on H.E. Ambassador Igor G. Bailen.

DCOB is the home-grown group of artisans, musicians, curators, and expert caretakers of the famed and truly unique Las Piñas Bamboo Organ at St. Joseph Parish Church. They bring their expertise to Russia as the organbuilders of the new church organ at the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Novosibirsk which was consecrated in October 2023. DCOB was also the brainchild of a monumental pipe organ built in 2014 in the Russian Far East, located Most Holy Mother of God Catholic Church, Vladivostok.

Our sincere gratitude to Most Reverend Julito B. Cortes, DD for his heart-warming greetings to our company's 30th year. The restoration of the historic pipe organ in the Parish of San Agustin of Hippo in Bacong, Negros Oriental under the the Diocese of Dumaguete with support from the Municipal Government of Bacong remains one of our best working experiences in our 30 years of pipe organ making in the Philippines.
