AIR ASIA PHIL. MIBIYA NA SA DAVAO CITY

AIRASIA PHILIPPINES officially bid goodbye to DAVAO on January 22, 2025, due to low volume of passengers and it's short of aircraft fleet to other Philippine tourist destinations.

AirAsia is a budget airline that offers affordable services and year round promo fares. It has been flying to and fro Davao City for almost 15years now. Nevertheless, we are still hoping that this is only temporary, and we are looking forward for a great come back of much greater service.

Beginning March 30, 2025 some Philippine Airlines - PAL express and Cebu Pacific flights utilizing turboprop aircraft (Bombardier Q400 & ATR) will transfer from NAIA to Clark International Airport and other secondary airports as part of NAIA's optimization plan.

This move however is expected to affect over 5 million passengers flying to destinations serviced by turboprops of DG, 2R & 2P.
