LOOK: List of airports with LGU clearance to resume commercial flights as of 4 August 2020

As of today, 4 August, there are 32 airports in the country whose Local Government Units (LGUs) have issued orders categorically supporting the resumption* of commercial airport operations in their areas of jurisdiction.

Meanwhile, domestic flights will not be allowed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) due to the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ). International flights will still be allowed subject to restrictions.

*Some airports, while allowing the resumption of commercial flights, are subject to different documentary and passenger LGU restrictions.

Here are the updated guidelines in accordance with the regulations of Aklan and Davao local authorities. Make sure you have the necessary requirements and travel documents. Always check our travel advisories, as well as email notifications, to stay updated on the latest developments.

Also, note that Locally Stranded Individuals are now allowed to enter Regions 6 and 8.

For KLO: Guests who fail to provide necessary details through the online form sent by Airasia may be denied boarding. Personal details provided must also match valid government IDs to be presented before boarding.

AirAsia is complying with advice and regulations from the local government and civil aviation authorities to ensure that flights proceed as scheduled. AirAsia is closely monitoring this situation and reserves the right to announce further policies according to the latest developments.

ADVISORY FROM NAIA

As of today, July 21, 2020, the following international destinations require all passengers coming from the Philippines to present a COVID-19 RT-PCR Negative-Test Result/Certification issued by a government recognized accredited testing institutions before they are allowed to board flights:

ABU DHABI
DUBAI
SOUTH KOREA
*HONG KONG (starting July 25)

All affected passengers are strongly advised to get in touch with their respective air carriers to get the details on the implementation of the new regulation.

Passengers without the required negative RT-PCR test result/certification may not be allowed to check-in for their flights.
