Lucban-Sampaloc Maapon River Tourism Convergence

Kasama po si Bokal Gerry Talaga sa pagbabalangkas ng mga policy at pag buo ng programa, nag meeting tayo din ni Mayor Tenten Villaverde ng Lucban para mailatag ang development plan ng Bayan ng Sampaloc para sa eco tourism road along maapon river from Sampaloc at maidugsong sa eco tourism road din ng Bayan ng Lucban papunta ng Maapon.

Sa proyekto pong eto, magkakaron ng access na ang lahat ng turista sa mga susunod na destinations:
1. 7 water falls of Maapon, Lucban
2. Underground River Cave of Malaog, Sampaloc
3. Cave Network Canyons ng Malaog, Sampaloc
4. Hot Springs ng Sampaloc
5. Taluto Falls ng Sampaloc
6. River and camp sites along Maapon

Sa pagtutulungan ng 2 bayan, napupunuan ng bawat bayan ang kakulangan ng bawat isa. Isang malaking halimbawa ay sa sampaloc, kulang ang accomodations, pero marami sa Lucban. Mas marami naman eco turism activities pede sa Sampaloc na pede naman ma offer sa mga turista ng Lucban para mas marami pa mapuntahan as magtagal pa ang mga turista dito at hindi din sila magsawa at parating bumalik. Tulong tulong, sama sama para sa iisang layunin..excited for this!!👍🏼

KUMUSTA KABAYAN? LUCBANGON NA!

The creation and development of the LUCBANGON logo was spearheaded by Lucban Municipal Tourism Office, supported and adopted by the Municipal Tourism Development Council of Lucban together with the full support of Mayor Oli Dator and the whole of the Lucban’s LGU.

This is meant as a jumpstart to bring back life and vigor to the tourism industry of Lucban as well as Lucban’s business and commerce.

It starts with the word “LUCBANGON” which is a combination of “LUCBAN BANGON” coined by the staff of the Municipal Tourism. In turn, the Tourism Council suggested to add in the background the majestic scenery of Mt. Banahaw with the rising sun to signify we are on the brink of a new beginning. The iconic statue of Jesus Christ the Redeemer of Kamay ni Hesus who keeps our faith strong and together with the colorful kiping pictures of our Pahiyas Festival following tradition. The kipings’ inset photos have the minimum requirements of IATF for COVID19 preparedness which are: a) Always wear a face mask (and shield), b) Wash your hands and disinfect always and c) keep social distancing to at least 1 meter.

The sentence of “Handa na ang Summer and Art Capital ng Quezon Province” will be the mantra for all Lucbanins as we are already in the process of readiness for influx of tourists as well as giving back color and excitement and promoting activities for our town.

The seal of Lucban was then added. This ensures that the LGU is 100% behind this initiative. The color of blue surrounds the whole logo represents the law, commandments, grace, revelation, and the Holy Spirit.

Lastly is the big check mark, DAHIL HAVEY AT WAGI TAYO KUNG MAGKAKAISA! ISANG MALAKING CHECK SA PAGBANGON NG LUCBAN AT PARA SA ATING LAHAT!

Kailangan po nating suportahan ang bawat isa, LUCBANGON NA!
