📣 LATEST UPDATE FROM NAIA

For your INFORMATION ✈️

♦️MGA alituntunin kung sino man po ang pauwi sa Pinas.

♦️“New Normal” from NAIA website. We will now be required to pay for a Covid Test (P3500) upon arrival to the Philippines and be subjected to quarantine for 3 to 5 days to a hotel that we will need to pay for until the results come in.

♦️ALL arriving passengers are required to go thru the RT-PCR test.

✅For OFWs, PhilHealth will pay . RT-PCR Test cost 3,500. For Non-OFW at their own expense. But if they are a PhilHealth member, they can charge it as long as they have PhilHealth membership number then fill up it to the form for swabbing. Thank you .

✅From NAIA, OFW will be brought to a Govt designated quarantine facility. For non-OFWs, to a hotel of their choice, at their own expense. They will wait for 3-4 days until results come out.

✅If test result is positive, passengers will be pick up by the Bureau of Quarantine who shall assume jurisdiction monitoring them. If test results is negative, Quarantine will issue a certificate stating that person tested NEGATIVE in the PCR test.

✅For those who tested negative and has been issued a certificate, they can leave hotel and go home to their residences.

✅We also refer you to the Department of Transportation - Philippines, they might be able to help you with you regards to the possible transportation. Thank you .

Travel Tips 101

1. An expectant mother may be accepted for travel if she is “NOT BEYOND 35 WEEKS” (8 months and 3 weeks) pregnant.

2. Passengers needs to fill-out EMIS (Expectant Mother Information Sheet)

3. Passengers 6-8 months pregnant must bring EMIS accomplished by personal physician.

4. Beyond 8 months pregnant must bring EMIS accomplished by the flight surgeon or company physician.

⚠️ Note: Flight must commence within 7 days from the date of certificate issuance.

This is a friendly reminder to everyone who’s visiting Taiwan or coming back from their vacation to please refrain from bringing fruits, hotdog, or any meat products, dried fish like tuyo or daing, or even burgers. The immigration here will not only confiscate these goods but you will also be fined for a minimum of NT$15,000 depending on the weight of the goods you brought. A friend of mine was unlucky to get caught with 3kg of hotdog, rambutan, and lanzones (not sure how many kilos) and paying the fine of 15k. I will not mention her name but I want to thank her for letting me post the picture of the receipt so as people will not question whether this is true or not.

Steps sa pagkuha ng TERMINAL FEE REFUND:

Pagkatapos mag-check in ng mga gamit, pumunta lang sa Philippine Airlines Ticket Sevice Counter at hingin ang inyong tax refund sa staff.

Ipakita ang passport at pirmahan ang resibo.

Pagkatapos, ipakita ang work permit sa cashier (another staff).

Normally hihingi sila ng hardcopy ng iyong OEC,

pero dahil hindi ako nakapag-print ipinakita ko lamang ang softcopy (screen cap) na nasa aking smart phone.

550 pesos ang TERMINAL FEE refund.

Pwede na ipandagdag sa iyong Jollibee na pasalubong.

AIRPORT GUIDELINE FOR A FIRST TIMER ABROAD

So you've booked your plane ticket,

packed all your bags and you’re now really excited and/or nervous about your first international flight.

You found yourself inside the airport but don’t exactly know

WHAT TO DO or WHERE TO GO FIRST.

Save yourself from humiliation and be confident, I got you fam! 😏

Here's the airport processes you need to take note of on your first travel abroad:

1. TAKE NOTE OF YOUR FLIGHT DETAILS –

flight number,

check-in time,

check -in counter number as well as the airline you will be flying with.

These details will be flashed / posted in front of the waiting area, inside the NAIA Terminal 1.

P.S make sure you are already at the airport a few hours before the check in time

2. Once the CHECK-IN COUNTER has opened,

FALL IN LINE quickly along with all your baggage as the line gets to be really long and may take about 30mins to an hour.

While on the line,

get a departure card (that you need to fill out)

and prepare your passport,

plane ticket and visa.

You will have to check-in your baggage first,

and the check-in agent will let you know if you still need to pay for the travel tax which cost P1,620.00.

3. Once the travel tax has been settled,

return to the check-in agent with your receipt.

After which, he/she will give you your boarding pass

and will be instructed to proceed to the Immigration Area.

4. At the IMMIGRATION AREA,

you will have to prepare all the necessary papers they may ask from you.

Initially, all you have to present is your

passport,

original copy of visa and

your return ticket.

They will ask basic questions

and may ask for additional / supporting documents such as hotel bookings,

travel itinerary,

leave of absence from your work and so on.

It will be best if you have all of these on hand.

5. After passing the nerve wrecking Immigration Interview,

you will then proceed to a FINAL SECURITY CHECK

before entering the gate to your first international flight! 😎

Read and familiarize yourself on the airport processes and I promise,

no one would know that this is actually your first time!
