We would like to inform you that we will not be accepting Japan visa application for tourism on January 22, 2025 onwards until further notice, due to fully booked slots.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

While we are unable to accomodate tourist visa applications during this dates, we will continue to accept applications for other categories, including visiting relatives, eligibility, commercial, visiting friends, and more.

Dear FTRC valued clients,

Due to an unexpected surge in Japan visa applications last week, we regret to inform you that we will be extending the suspension of Japan tourist visa applications.

Although we had initially planned to reopen on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, we will not be accepting applications for tourism at this time.

Please continue to monitor our page for further updates.

We will post an update on the resumption of operations at the office and on our page.

To all FTRC valued clients,

Please be informed that FTRC Manila and Cebu are now accepting Japan Visa applications for the Tourism category starting January 21, 2025, for travel dates intended on or after March 21, 2025.

Please note that this ruling does not affect other Japan visa categories.

Before submitting your applications, we strongly advise and recommend to familiarize yourself with the new guidelines from the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines.

The Embassy suggests that applications be submitted at least two (2) months in advance of your intended travel date, as processing may take up to three (3) weeks.

Please note that, due to this processing time, FTRC is strictly implementing a "first-come, first-served" policy. The queuing number shall be given during your application.

We advise you to visit us ahead of time before your travel date to prevent delays.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we are grateful for your kind understanding and cooperation.

We would like to inform you that FTRC Manila and Cebu has reached the daily visa application quota allocated by the Embassy of Japan in Manila.

As a result, the management has decided to extend the suspension of Japanese visa processing tomorrow, Thursday 16 and Friday, 17 January 2025.

We will post an update on the resumption of operations at our office and on our page.

We would like to inform you that starting 20 January 2025, the Embassy of Japan in Manila implement a memorandum that due to excessive increase in the number of Japan visa applications from the Philippines, examination of visa applications for tourism, may take several weeks longer than the standard processing time.

To avoid delays, we highly recommend for applicants to apply at least two (2) months prior to the date of travel.

Please plan your travel plans ahead to avoid delays.

PAG-ASA has declared an orange alert in Metro Manila. Due to this, heavy rainfall will be experienced in the affected areas. Since our first priority is the safety of everyone, please be informed that the management of Friendship Tours and Resorts Corporation hereby declared a half-day work suspension. FTRC will accept applications until 3pm today.

Regular operation shall resume tomorrow, Tuesday, 3 September, 2024.
