Good news! For added convenience, AirAsia guests will be able to pay the Philippine Travel Tax (PHTAX) online effective 9 October 2014!

The PHTAX (Php 1,620) for international departures can optionally be paid alongside booking at https://airasia.com.

The following categories of guests are required to pay this fee according to Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA):

• Citizens of the Philippines
• Permanent Resident Aliens
• Non-Resident Aliens who have stayed in the Philippines for more than a year

Guests who have paid the PHTAX online via https://airasia.com are required to present their printed itinerary invoice or boarding pass for TIEZA checking.
