To bring this full realization, we espouse a fanatical commitment to great food and great service. We invest heavily in great people believing that only committed, well-trained people succeed in service-oriented hospitality business. “The customer experience never exceeds the employee experience” -the mantra our company lives by. That is, treat your staff well and they will, in turn, treat customers even better. The Bistro Group began operations in 1994 with the opening of TGI Friday’s , the very first American casual dining chain in the Philippines. In 1996, opened the first Italianni’s branch outside the US. TGI Friday’s, Glorietta in Makati City reaped international accolades that include the Highest Guest Count for four consecutive years (1995-1998), beating 500 TGI Fridays around the world. A recognition it was to win again in 2011. Today, Bistro operates 25 TGI Friday’s restaurants, 21 Italianni’s, 3 Fish & Co., 6 Bulgogi Brothers, 6 Watami, 3 Modern Shanghai, 5 Buffalo Wild Wings, 5 Texas Roadhouse, 10 Denny’s, 2 Red Lobster, 1 Hard Rock Cafe, and 1 El Pollo Loco. Bistro has also partnered with Chef Josh Boutwood to bring you My South Hall, which houses 8 concepts. .
