Today, the Philippines celebrates its 126th year of independence. Have you noticed? "Independence" is sometimes translated as "kalayaan" in Filipino which means freedom, but some translate it to "kasarinlan," which means that one can stand on their own. Both are correct and are used interchangeably.

The officiant blessed the employees first before the company and the physical office as when employees are blessed, the company is blessed as well. As part of the Holy Week celebration this year, a Philippine tradition during this season is the Visita Iglesia, or to go on a pilgrimage to different churches during Holy Week. But did you know that a number of non-Catholics also visit Philippine churches because of their architectural beauty? Happy World Tourism Day 2024!

Happy World Oceans Day! May we all strive to keep our oceans clean, the underwater teeming with life, and its flora and fauna flourishing.

Did you know that it was only in 2015 when Chinese New Year was declared as a national holiday in the Philippines? Such had been made as an acknowledgement to those of Chinese descent who have long been part of the Philippines' history, especially when it comes to trade businesses. This year, with the Philippine Chinese New Year centering in Binondo, the festivities is set to begin through a 12-minute fireworks display on the midnight of February 9, 2024 at Jones Bridge, to be followed by a parade of at least 40 floats the following day from the Manila Central Post Office to Lucky Chinatown Mall.

Happy New Year to each and everyone of us! We hope for a prosperous and joyful year ahead! With this, we wish to inform everyone that our offices will be closed for the day. We will be returning tomorrow, January 2, 2024 (Tuesday).
