In line with the upcoming Holiday Season, MACEA, in partnership with the Makati City LGU, Barangays Bel-Air, San Lorenzo and Urdaneta, and other estate associations in Makati namely Ayala Center Estate Association (ACEA), Circuit Makati Estate Association (CMEA), and Paseo de Magallanes Commercial Center (PDMCC), will conduct a 1-day security summit entitled One Makati Security Summit with details below:

DATE September 25, 2024 (Wednesday)
TIME 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM (Registration)
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Program Proper)
VENUE Barangay Bel-Air Covered Court
Solar Street, Bel-Air Village, Makati City

The summit aims to increase security awareness and apprise our members with the latest crime and incident statistics, the latest modus operandi during the Holiday Season, proper handling of mendicants, and other security-related matters.

With this, we would like to invite everyone to attend the security summit. This will be a great tool that will help our members and locators keep their communities safe and secure, especially during the Holiday Season.

We will also offer a limited free shuttle service going to the site on September 25, 2024. There will be two departure schedules - 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. Should you wish to avail of the free shuttle service, please proceed directly to our office on the day of the event.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY (ONE-WAY TRAFFIC FLOW ALONG PORTIONS OF TORDESILLAS AND H.V. DELA COSTA STREETS)

To further improve the traffic flow in the Central Business District, the Makati Parking Authority (MAPA) will implement a one-way traffic scheme along H.V. Dela Costa starting September 09, 2024.

We invite everyone to our 2nd Mobile Blood Donation activity for 2024 and One-Stop Shop Caravan, which will be participated by the Philippine Red Cross, the Social Security System (SSS), and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). This event will be on September 06, 2024, from 9 AM to 4 PM. The blood donation activity will be held at 3F Legazpi Carparks and the One-Stop Shop at the MaCEA Boardroom.

For a seamless and coordinated evacuation drill, here is the schedule as discussed and agreed with the Barangays this afternoon:

9:00 AM - Start of the drill

A 5-minute alarm / PA will be sounded off for each barangay.

9:05 AM - perform the Duck, Cover, and Hold procedure for 1 minute

9:06 AM - the start of evacuation. Please proceed to your designated evacuation area.

Designated evacuation area will be sent within the day, as agreed with the barangays and stakeholders.

We are pleased to announce that there will be a MAKATI STREET MEET AT LEVISTE along L. P. Leviste St., Salcedo Village, Makati City on July 13 and 14, 2024 (Saturday and Sunday) from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Our event is entitled “PAWSOME PET FAIR” in collaboration with Spectrum Fair Manila.
To allow for preparations and the actual conduct of this initiative, a portion of L.P. Leviste St. (bounded by H.V.
Dela Costa and Villar Sts.) will be closed to vehicles to accommodate the event together with the Weekend
Market at Salcedo Village.
The road closure of L.P. Leviste St. will begin on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 10:00 PM before the event and will continue until Sunday, July 14, 2024, at 10:00 PM.
Street parking and parking facilities within other areas of Legaspi Village will be available to residents and patrons of different establishments.

Did you know there are monuments of our National Heroes around the Financial Center of the Philippines?
One of them is a female national hero located in the heart of the Central Business District.
She is the Gabriela Silang Monument. Gabriela was a Filipina revolutionary leader who fought for freedom against Spanish colonization.
This artwork was made by Jose M. Mendoza in 197. It was placed by the Zobel de Ayala Family and inaugurated by Gabriela Silang’s great-granddaughter Gloria Cariño and her great-grandson Mario Cariño Merritt.
Gabriela was a Filipina revolutionary leader who fought for freedom against Spanish colonization.
