The province of New Brunswick has recently announced that they will be hosting a series of job fairs and information sessions.
These job fairs will pair eligible candidates with Canadian employers who will provide support through the Canadian immigration process. Events are currently scheduled in January - February 2019 in Paris (France), Manila and Cebu (Philippines) and Utrecht (Netherlands)
Applicants who are successful at securing a job offer at these information sessions will not only receive Canadian employment, but also support in their Canadian immigration process.
Each event has a unique eligibility criteria. Registration is limited for each event and applying to registration does not guarantee a spot.
If selected to attend an event, you will receive a separate email inviting you for a specific event. We can assist you in registering.

Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship

On August 20, 2018, IRCC, announced that the Government of Canada will accept up to 20,000 applications for the sponsorship of parents and grandparents in 2019.It will be an online intake system, granted on a first-come, first serve basis.In 2019, instead of randomly selecting the sponsors to apply, IRCC will invite them to submit an application to sponsor their parents and grandparents based on the order in which IRCC will receive their Online Interest Forms.ITA will be issued only to completed applications Penalty will be imposed for multiple attempts of registration

Summary of Sponsor Eligibility:

-Be 18 years of age or older
-Be a Canadian citizen, Registered Indian, or Permanent Resident
-Be sponsoring a member of the family Class
resides in Canada
-Sign an undertaking promising to provide for basic requirements of the person being sponsored
-Sign an agreement with the person you are sponsoring that confirms that each of you understands your mutual obligations and responsibilities
-Prove that you have sufficient income to -Provide the basic requirements for your family members in Canada as well as the persons included in your sponsorship undertaking. You may also have a co-signer who is 18 years of age or older; and a legally married or a common-law spouse of the sponsor

It is possible to work in Canada, while you are here as a student.

A student may be able to work in Canada during the course of study under the following categories:

* On campus without a Work Permit;
* Off campus with a Work Permit;

Courses range from Business, Health, Engineering, Travel and Tourism and many more as a degree or diploma.

An applicant for a Canadian study permit may include his or her family members on the application, so that they may accompany the applicant to Canada. An accompanying spouse may be able to obtain an open work permit, and minor children may be able to study at Canadian elementary and secondary schools.
Living and working in Canada after graduation
Upon graduation, a foreign student may apply for a work permit under the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program. Under this program, the work permit may be issued for the length of the study program, up to a maximum of three years.
