Tour to Alaminos, Pangasinan : The Place where you can find peace

Hundred Islands is a popular tourist spot in Alaminos City Pangasinan.

Hundred Islands is the best place to go every summer. It is known as one of the best tourist spot here in the Philippines. Everything about it is to die for. You can go there if you want to relax your mind by seeing a delightful view that will keep you coming back. Hundred Islands has three famous islands, The Quezon Island the most famous one, Marcos Island famous for the fun and thrilling cliff diving and next is the Governor's island. These are three of the islands where you can relax and enjoy your vacation. All your stress will fade away as you see the Charming view of Lucap, Alaminos City Pangasinan.

The Lucap Wharf is located in the heart of the bustling city. Its location makes it a perfect site for Alaminos Tourist Center. It is also the place where visitors can arrange boat tours and can register and pay for the necessary fees for an island-hopping tour filled with fun activities.

Traveling to Pangasinan from Manila is not as complicated as you think. From Cubao or Pasay, you can ride a bus going to Alaminos, Pangasinan where Hundred Islands is located.

Hundred Island also offers water activities such as snorkeling, helmet diving kayaking, banana boat ride, ziplining and cliff diving. If you are wondering how much you need to pay for riding or joining one of these activities I got you. Kayaking is worth 250 pesos for 1 kayak ride, ziplining is worth 250 per person, and Banana boat is worth 1,500 that is good for seven people.

If we're talking about a great view where you can really enjoy it, thereโ€™s a viewing deck in Governors Island, perfect for taking selfies and panoramic shots. To get there, youโ€™ll have to climb a 123-step staircase. Itโ€™s tiring but it's worth it.

One of the newest attractions in Hundred Islands is the 56-foot Christ the Savior statue at the top of Pilgrimage Island (formerly Martha Island). You can climb 263 steps from the beach not to only give respect to Christ the Savior but to also enjoy the panoramic view of some of the nearby islands.

If you are wondering what to do after an activity you can try cliff diving in Marcos Island or go to the Coral Garden and see how beautiful Pangasinan Islandโ€™s underwater world is. Hundred Islands is the best place to have fun and create beautiful memories with your loved ones.

ESCAPE TO DICASALARIN COVE AND BALER LIGHTHOUSE, BALER AURORA

There have been a number of write ups sharing the beauty there is in Dicasalarin Cove, a secluded haven privately owned by the Angara Family located in Baler, Aurora. Curious to see whether the place is as grand as many previous visitors have said, we decided to embark on our own day tour to witness firsthand this majestic cove.

We were guests of the beautiful resort Costa Pacifica, also owned by the same family, Angara. With the resortโ€™s front desk, we arranged a van rental that would take us to the privately owned paradise. The van rental cost P2750 for the whole day. We also arranged a day pass for entry into Dicasalarin Cove at the front desk of Costa Pacifica. The pass cost P100 per person. Please note that if you are not staying at Costa Pacifica, they may charge P300 for entrance in Dicasalarin.

It took about 30 min drive to get the the entry of a one-way /one-lane road leading to Dicasalarin. Luckily, we set our trip early at 9AM that there were no vehicles coming down this one lane road, which meant we didnโ€™t have to wait. We were given a go signal to ascend the mountain and the driver smilingly told us โ€œHuwag po kayong kakabahan, matarik po ang kalasada.โ€ As much as we appreciated the warning, nothing really prepared us for the steep and nerve wrecking ascend to the top. Literally, a few inches off in maneuvering the vehicle in turning and we may end up sliding off the edge to disaster.

Nevertheless, we continued our ascend for another 5-10 minutes, with the driver stopping with every few minutes when he reaches a good vantage point for an amazing view. We took advantage to snap photos as quickly as possible as we too had to hurry to the other side of the road so as not to cause any traffic from the other end point of the road.

Upon reaching the top point, entry to the cove, we handed our passes and proceeded directly downhill this time to reach the cove side. After another few mi

The Tourist Spots in Lilo-an, Southern Leyte, Philippines

Liloan is usually just an exit point from the Visayas to Mindanao or an entry point for people who are traveling overland from Mindanao to Visayas and Luzon. Not known to many, it can also offer travelers a reason to stay for a while and experience its beauty.

Iโ€™ve been passing by this town several time already and decided to stop by for a while. There are not many things to do here so a night or two will be enough. I wanted to do a slow travel this time so I decided to stay for two nights. This allowed me to just sit down and watch the locals do their thing. It actually feels good when you donโ€™t have to hurry yourself to catch the next bus or van to your next destination.

Tagbak Marine Park
Tagbak Marine Park is located in Sitio Tagbak, Tabugon, Liloan, Southern Leyte. Itโ€™s an emerging tourist destination in the province. I never heard about it before. I recently just saw a video about Southern Leyte on Facebook and it caught my attention. So, I went there hoping that Iโ€™ll be able to visit the place. I didnโ€™t really search for information (my bad) about the place. I did not know that I should have booked in advance in order to go there. Yes, I only googled it as I am writing this article. Hahaha. Anyway, I settled in the viewing deck and it was nice.

If you also plan to go there, you can call them at 0997 372 1452 to arrange your visit. The fee is Php500 good for 10 pax. You may also visit their page.

How to get to Tagbak Marine Park

From Tacloban or Ormoc, you can take a bus bound for Liloan. Buses going to Davao and other parts of Mindanao also pass by Liloan so you can take them. Tagbak Marine Park is situated before the Liloan Port and Liloan town proper. Actually it;s before Wawa Bridge. Itโ€™s a walking distance from Wawa Bridge and Liloan Port.

If you come from Davao and other parts of Mindanao, you can take a ferry to Liloan. From the port, you can either walk to the marine park or take a tricycle.

Molopolo Beach

If you love the beach, then this place is for you. Itโ€™s located about 5 kilometers away from Liloan Port. I was lucky I visited on a weekday so I was literally alone in the beach area. I would normally feel happy when Iโ€™m in a secluded beach but for some reasons, I felt the other way around. Anyway, I suggest you bring a book when you visit there on a weekday. Youโ€™ll definitely enjoy the calmness of the beach and the relaxing sounds of the waves hitting the shore. Donโ€™t forget to bring a beach towel and lie down on the beach under the coconut trees!

How to get to Molopolo Beach

From Liloan Port, walk towards the national highway and take a tricycle to Molopolo Beach. If youโ€™s alone, be prepared to pay more. I paid Php50 to get there which I think is very reasonable for a 15-minute ride. On my way back to my accommodation, I only paid Php15.

Wawa Bridge
Wawa Bridge is not as grand as the famous San Juanico Bridge but it has its own charm. Itโ€™s a walking distance from the posrt so donโ€™t miss your chance to visit it. From the port, you can already see the bridge so it is that near. Hahaha.

Where to stay in Liloan?
My Casa Inn
I stayed in My Casa Inn, just a walking distance from Liloan Port. Itโ€™s a simple accommodation that offers cheap but comfortable rooms to sleep. Itโ€™s pretty basic but I kinda like how friendly the people managing the place.

Their room rates range from Php500 to Php1,000. I got my airconditioned room with shared T&B for only Php600. Itโ€™s pretty comfortable and a good deal. Just bring your own towel as they do not provide one.
