Cannes, France is special as it is the capital of cinema known worldwide not only for its trade fairs but also for its prestigious luxury hotels frequented by film stars and other wealthy tourists. Cannes, is where the famous Palais des Festivals rolls out the red carpet every year for the stars of world cinema.

Just truly excited to see this firsthand esply the Cannes Alley of Stars and had a pic with Angelina Jolie & Sylvester Stallone's palm prints on the paving stones.

Dining in this area btw is quite challenging as a lot of birds are flying and taking their chances of getting your food! 😀

Some facts about the Leaning Tower of Pisa:

It is a freestanding bell tower of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, famous for its unintended tilt.

It was declared as one of the Seven Wonders of the World for its exceptional Romanesque architecture.

Pisa was the birthplace of the scientist Galileo Galilei.

The tilt was caused by shallow foundations of 3m and unstable subsoil.

You'll have a strict 30 minutes to climb to the top, take in the views and head back down, so be sure to make every second of your time in the tower count.

It has been fighting gravity for almost 850 years.

The legend holds that a coin thrown into the fountain will ensure a return to Rome. (Bet!)

📍 The Colosseum was important to ancient Romans because it symbolized their power and was an important party of their daily lives for entertainment. It is important for us today because it allows us to see ancient Roman architecture and culture.

📍Michelangelo Buonarroti statue who was one of the greatest artists of all time. He sculpted the Pieta in Rome and the David in Florence, painted the Sistine Chapel's ceilings and even designed the dome for St. Peter's Basilica, to name just a few.
