Buscalan, Tinglayan Kalinga

Buscalan, formerly Buscalan-Locong, is a remote village located in the Municipality of Tinglayan, the 4th class municipality in the Province of Kalinga. Buscalan village is quite rich in culture and history. The most interesting part is their hand-tapped tattoos. It is known to be the home of the last mambabatok (Tattoo Artist) of the Butbut Tribe. A 105-year old Apo Whang Od is the oldest and last of her tribe to have practice their tattoo culture. Originally, batok or hand-tapped tattoos are only exclusive for their tribe, as it signifies a milestone on their lives - a marriage or success in battle. As time passed, it has become a form of art where they can share to all tourist.

Aside from getting inked, you can sit down over their famous Rice Coffee with the locals and talked about their culture and traditions. You can also walk around Padjao Rice Terraces that best enjoyed during sunrise, getting a dose of freah air and cold breeze.

Staying in Buscalan is pure magic, no signal, no interenet, just coffee and acquaintances, breathtaking views, fresh thin air, amazing people and peaceful environment will make your trip worth.

Bauang, La Union

Bauang is the 1st class municipality in the province of La Union. It is known for the very antique church the Sts. Peter and Paul Parish Church where you can take a glimpse of the 400 year old San Pedro Bell which stayed in New York City for the last 115 years until it was returned to its rightful place last May 2016, displayed in front of the church. Bauang also dubbed as the beach capital of the North because of its long stretched of fine sand beaches. Climb the highest mountain peak Mt. Pulaw ( Mt. Bangui Wind Farm

The Bangui wind farm is located 52 kilometers from the city of Laoag, province of Ilocos Norte in the Northwestern tip of Philippine's Luzon Island. The windmills form a gracefully shaped arc that reflect the shoreline alongside Bangui Bay. Its a must-see with 26 turbines to date and counting, the Ilocos Regions first and largest wind farm is a magnificent sight to behold. The ideal time to visit the wind farm is during the day if you enjoy taking pictures. As a dawn location, the turbines are a little challenging for photography lover to capture due to the moving propellers, but using the right shutter speed can capture perfectly fast enough to keep the turbines visible while also slowing down the waves to create more streaks.

Many people have developed covid fatigue as a result of the uncertainties surrounding the pandemic. But there's always a spot to go to get away from it all. As a result, a coffee shop has emeged as a place where you can relax and reconnect with nature in a safe environment. Located in Daang Kalikasan road, town of Mangatarem Pangasinan, lies this charming coffee shop AG.KAPI.TA that nestled in the middle of a rice field. Ag kapi ta is an Ilocano term that means "Let Us Have A Coffee". With a view of a surrounding ricefields and mountains, you may have a wonderful cup of coffee while taking in the scenery, and when the area's environment becomes more soothing and inviting as the fairy lights light up after sunset, you'll be able to linger longer.

Dueg Kapya Ken Talna

Sitio Dueg, a small town in the highlands of Barangay Maasin, San Clemente, Tarlac, in the northern portion of Luzon, is a hidden paradise that seems to be lost in the proper path. "Difficult Roads Lead To Beautiful Places," as the adage goes...Yes, despite its remoteness, hilly terrain, and a plethora of paved and unpaved road obstacles, comes to a spot that will never fail to astonish you with God's creation's beauty. A beautiful garden full of Bromoliads and the famous Blue Iris flowers.

Symbolically, the blue irish flower has a lot of meaning. In ancient Greece, the Goddess Irish served as a link between heaven and earth, and the journey was made by using the rainbow. As you watch the sun rise over the mountain's crystalline slopes, you can eat wonderful meals and a decent cup of coffee.

Manleleuag Spring Protected Landscape is one of the famous hot spring of Pangasinan second to Balungao Hilltop which is located in the Municipality of Mangatarem, Barangay Malabobo, Pangasinan in the west-central of Luzon. It features world-class hot spring produced by the extinct volcano Mt. Malabobo. It is one of the 34 protected landscapes in the Philippines containing natural hot spring which have a PH level of 11-13 according to the locals and staff of the eco-park. Aside from water activities, a trail is available to reach viewdeck tower and enjoy seeing the Zambales Mountain Range. It was declared a national park in 1940 and managed by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
