Travel Advisory for Passengers Entering the Philippines
Updated as of May 27, 2022

Effective May 30, 2022 fully vaccinated and boostered Filipinos and foreign nationals are no longer required to present a negative RT-PCR or Antigen test rest upon arrival in the Philippines.

Based on IATF-approved Resolution 168, visitors must be at least 18 years old and must have received the primary series of Covid-19 vaccines and at least one booster shot.

Exempted from the pre-departure RT-PCR requirement are Filipinos and foreign nationals aged 12 to 17 who have received their primary Covid-19 vaccine/s that are included in the Emergency use Authorization (EUA) List or Compassionate Special Permit (CSP) issued by the Philippine Food and Drug Administration; or Emergency Use Listing of WHO. Children aged below 12 and traveling with fully vaccinated or boostered parents or guardians are also exempted from the requirement.

All types of vaccination certificates, regardless of country of origin, will also be accepted. One Health Pass is still required for all arriving passengers.

JUST IN: Effective Feb 1, fully vaccinated passengers will be required to present negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hrs prior to departure from country of origin, and they will no longer be required to undergo facility quarantine.

Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travelers would be required to undergo facility-based quarantine until the release of their negative RT-PCR test taken on the 5th day.

Effective Feb 10, fully vaccinated nationals of non-visa required countries shall be allowed to enter the Philippines, subject to several conditions. | via Leila Salaverria/Philippine Daily Inquirer

Fully-vaccinated travelers from so-called green countries where a visa is not required will be allowed to enter the Philippines beginning December 1 although subject to certain conditions, Cabinet Secretary and acting presidential spokesperson Karlo Nograles announced.

The Civil Aviation Affairs has updated travel regulations, expanding the number of Red List countries, in line with directives issued by the Government Executive Committee after a review of the latest recommendations of the National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Passengers arriving from Red List countries, including passengers who have transited through any of those countries at any point in the preceding 14 days, are prohibited from entry unless they are citizens or residents of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Passengers eligible for entry must present a negative PCR certificate, with a QR code, administered within 48 hours of their departure, undergo further testing upon arrival, and on their 10th day of mandatory quarantine. Payment for testing may be made on arrival or through the 'BeAware Bahrain' application.

For travellers' convenience, designated quarantine centres licensed by the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) are available. Passengers with an address in Bahrain, registered in their name or the name of an immediate family member, may complete their 10-day mandatory quarantine at that residence. Passengers aged six and below are exempt from these requirements.

All other travel procedures for arrivals from non-Red List countries remain in place
