Kalibo (KLO) is Visayas' 2nd official international airport first to cater regional Asia flights mid of 2006 later est. in 2007 by ATO after Mactan-Cebu, and it is also Western Visayas' First to handle international flights.

There are only eight (8) airports in the Philippines that has international flights as of April 06, 2023. ●

There are eight (8) in the list classified as official international airports : Laoag, Clark, Manila, Cebu, Kalibo, Puerto Princesa, Davao and Iloilo. Among this 8 airports only Laoag and Iloilo does not have international flights.

Known as "international" but classified as principal class 1 airports: Bohol, Zamboanga, Subic, General Santos and Bicol, however among these airports only Bohol-Panglao able to sustain international flights.

Known as "Domestic" classified principal class 1 Airport, but they allow seasonal chartered flights: Caticlan.

If you are a PAL international passenger arriving at NAIA T1 with a connecting domestic flight at T2, no need for you to carry your checked bags with you. Take note that your bags must be checked through to your final destination.

Starting December 16, 2022, all AirAsia flights from Manila to CATICLAN (Boracay) and CEBU will depart and arrive at NAIA TERMINAL 3.⁣

Meanwhile, all other AirAsia domestic flights will operate from NAIA Terminal 4 and AirAsia International flights remains to operate at NAIA Terminal 3.⁣

All Caticlan flights to and from Clark International Airport will remain operational.⁣
