Intramuros Rev Walk is not just our regular Intramuros Tour. While the latter is about the evolution of Manila from the pre-colonial Rajah Sulayman's settlement to the modern-day Manila, the former focuses on the uprisings that took place inside the Walled City and how Intramuros played its role during the 1896 Philippine Revolution. The uprisings include the Novales' revolt and the Sangley Uprising in the Parian.
Intramuros is indeed the Spanish Manila, the colonial city, but the trail of strugggle within the walls is still prevailing. The trail can still be traced. It deserves a separate and a focused discussion.
Baluarte de Dilao faces the Novales Street.
The street was named after Andres Novales, the only Filipino Emperor.
Puerta del Parian. This was the focal point of the Sangley Revolt.
