END OF AN ERA: AirAsia Philippines Bids Goodbye to Davao After 15 Years ✈️

After nearly 15 years of service, AirAsia Philippines (Z2) has officially ended its operations at Davao International Airport. The airline’s final commercial flight departed on January 24, 2025, marking the end of an era for travelers in the Durian Capital of the Philippines.

The decision to pull out of Davao was driven by low passenger volumes and limited aircraft availability. Despite this farewell, AirAsia assures that it will continue serving other destinations across the country.

To all the passengers and the Davao community who supported AirAsia through the years—thank you for flying with us! ❤️✈️
