It’s official: Singapore is reopening to all fully vaccinated travellers without quarantine on 1 April.

We will launch the new Vaccinated Travel Framework with simplified travel protocols:

▪️ All countries/regions will be classified under either the General Travel or the Restricted Category. There are currently no countries/regions in the Restricted Category.
▪️ Stay-Home Notice (SHN) and on-arrival COVID-19 test not required for all fully vaccinated travellers, or children aged 12 and below
▪️ No need to apply for entry approvals or take designated flights

As announced yesterday, IATF has allowed leisure travel for all NCR plus residents to MGCQ areas from June 1 to 15, 2021.

“The DOT clarified that under Resolution 118A, those ages below 18 and above 65 years old are permitted travel for leisure provided that they undergo RT-PCR test before travel. The very same requirement STILL applies to travelers that fall within 18 to 65 age group, if so required by the Local government unit (LGU) of destination, or in the case of Boracay, the Boracay IATF, which requires all tourists to present a negative RT-PCR test result prior to visiting the island.

DOT likewise reminds all leisure travelers to book their RT-PCR test only with COVID 19 testing laboratories that are licensed and accredited by DOH, and practice minimum health protocols and responsible tourism when visiting the country’s reopened tourism destination.”

GCQ with additional restrictions shall remain in place in NCR Plus until 15 June 2021, with the following rules, among others:

1. Staycation will be allowed without age restrictions;
2. Point-to-point travel from NCR Plus to areas under MGCQ will be allowed, subject to a test-before-travel requirement for those below 18 and above 65 years old; and
3. MICE events will be allowed at up to 30% venue capacity, and social events at up to 10% venue capacity, subject to guidelines to be jointly issued by DOT and DTI.

Travel Requirements Advisory:

Due to the increasing incidents of RT-PCR test results falsification, we encourage tourists from outside PALAWAN to apply for QR-coded tourist IDs (QT-IDs) at least 12 hours prior departure to Palawan.

This is to give LGU-EL NIDO ample time to verify the submitted RT-PCR test results.
