DESTIDEAS TRAVEL AGENCY is a sole proprietor business established in Year 2013 as home based in Manila. It is owned and managed by Katherine C. Taburada, a Certified Public Accountant who is passionate into travel and tours. Being a business consultant and an auditor for a decade, she started to push through to have her own business. It is where Destideas Travel Agency came into the picture. The word DESTIDEAS was a combination of โ€œIDEAS of different Destinationโ€.

While doing her career as Auditor and Business Consultant, after months of doing business online as home based, she decided to open a physical office in Cadiz City Negros Occidental. She let a trusted friend to manage in her behalf. April 20, 2014 was the commencement of the company Main office. Every year the company celebrated its anniversary in different places together with the DTA home based branches & DTA Family.

DTA offers both domestic and international airfares, hotel accommodations, tours, visa assistance, bus transportation, ferries and travel insurance. The company also grants franchise right to chosen trusted people who become part of DTA Family as home based branches. It also helps unemployed individual by providing additional income as travel agents. Currently, DTA provides new service to those people who want to have their own business in travel & tour using their own Company Business name classified as DTA Affiliates. Today, the company has at least 5 home based branches, 10 travel agents and 2 DTA affiliates. The main office of the company is in Negros and has 2 operating Satellite offices located in Leyte and Manila. DTA has awarded by Phil. Social Media this year as STAR BRAND AWARDEE. The company has also been featured in different radio station.
