GOOD NEWS: NAIA TERMINAL 2 REHAB GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER TO COMPLETION!

The rehabilitation project for the NAIA Terminal 2 has already reached 98.10% overall progress rate, as of 11 January 2021!

The project involves major works to improve the terminal, in regard to its architectural, functional, and operational requirement, which will further enhance the terminal’s passenger movement, both for international and domestic flights, as well as the departure and arrival.

Slated to be completed by the end of January this year, the rehabilitation project aims to provide the air-riding public with a much-improved service and an air travel experience like no other!

CLARK ARRIVAL FOR MIDDLE EAST FLIGHTS ON JANUARY 14, 15 and 16

Attention: Passengers departing from:
• Riyadh (PR 5655) on January 14, 15 and 16
• Dammam (PR 5683) on January 14 and 16
• Doha (PR 685) on January 14
• Dubai (PR 659) on January 14

Your flights will be re-routed to land in CLARK (Clark International Airport - CRK) instead of in Manila, because of quarantine testing capacity limitations at Manila airport. The re-routing to Clark is necessary to avoid a full cancellation of your flight. More details:
• PR 5655 departing Riyadh (RUH) on January 14
-- will operate as Riyadh-Clark
-- Departure time from RUH: 09:30PM
-- Arrival time in CRK: 12:00PM (noon) next day – January 15

• PR 5655 departing Riyadh (RUH) on January 15 and 16
-- will operate as Riyadh-Clark
-- Departure time from RUH: 07:40PM
-- Arrival time in CRK: 10:10AM next day – January 16 and 17 respectively

• PR 5683 departing Dammam (DMM) on January 14 and 16

ATTENTION - WHAT TO EXPECT
You will undergo the required COVID testing in Clark rather than in Manila, and quarantine at a Clark hotel accredited by the Philippine health and tourism authorities.

Once you receive a negative test result (usually in 48 hours of the test, although the release timing varies and may be longer or shorter), non-OFWs and foreign nationals may avail of the free shuttle/bus service to NAIA Terminal 2 that PAL will schedule, at no extra charge. The transportation for OFWS will be handled by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

Please note that the cost for the COVID tests and the quarantine hotel will be borne by the traveler. (For Overseas Filipino Workers - OFWs, the government will shoulder the cost of tests and accommodation).

PASSENGERS WITH CONNECTING PAL FLIGHTS
If you test negative and you wish to be accommodated on the next flight available from Manila or Clark to your final point of arrival, you may call our Reservations Hotline at +6328855-8888 (8AM to 8PM) for changes on connecting flight/s. Please ensure to pre-register and secure all travel and health documents required by your destination’s Local Government Unit (LGU).

BOOK YOUR HOTEL IN ADVANCE (for non-OFWs)

For non-OFWs and foreign nationals, please book your Clark hotel accommodation prior to your departure. You may choose from this list of accredited hotels. For the updated list, please click on this link – List of DOH-Inspected hotels in Clark

We suggest that you book your hotel for at least two (2) nights, in line with the expected 48 hours processing time to receive the COVID test results. Please show a copy of your hotel reservation as you check in for your PAL flight to the Philippines.

The hotel or quarantine accommodation for OFWs is arranged by OWWA upon arrival in Clark.

PREPARE REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT
All passengers arriving in Clark are required to fill out the Health Declaration Card, Case Investigation Form, and the Affidavit of Undertaking to be collected upon arrival.
