Fr. Viel Bautista and our pilgrims visited the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Montserrat, a revered Marian shrine nestled in the breathtaking mountains of Catalonia. There, they celebrated Mass at the Basilica, honoring the Black Madonna, Catalonia’s beloved patroness.

They then concluded their pilgrimage in Barcelona, visiting the city's most iconic landmarks. A highlight of their visit was the awe-inspiring Sagrada Família, the masterpiece of renowned architect Antoni Gaudí.

𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘀 & 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀

The story is told that when a group of tourists saw the "Pieta" of Michelangelo, they had different reactions: The Spaniards exclaimed "Mama mia!"; the British said "Brilliant!"; the Americans chorused "Amazing"; and the Filipinos, rushing as a group, positioned themselves in front of the image, excitedly shouting: "Picture! Picture! Dali!"

A MOMENT WITH THE LORD

Lord, give me the wisdom to know when to be "in the picture" and when to be "out of the picture." Amen.

Ever wondered why St. Joseph, father of Jesus and husband of Mother Mary is almost always not in the picture? Maybe because he is the one taking the picture. May we be like St. Joseph, content to be taking care of our loved ones, behind the scenes. St. Joseph, pray for us.

En route to Zaragoza, Spain, Fr. Viel Bautista and our pilgrims visited the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Torreciudad, a renowned Marian shrine nestled in the scenic Aragonese countryside. Built under the guidance of St. Josemaria Escriva, founder of the Opus Dei, the shrine draws pilgrims seeking spiritual renewal and devotion to Our Lady. The group spent time in prayer and reflection before celebrating Mass at the Capella de la Sagrada Familia while on a current Pilgrimage to the Marian Shrines of Portugal, France, and Spain.

Encounter God Through Mama Mary And The Saints!

Join me in my 16-Day “Encounter God” Pilgrimage 2025; We’ll go to Fatima & Lourdes & La Sallette and 9 other holy and breathtaking sites in Europe!
Departure: September 23, 2025

Do you want to be spiritually refreshed?

Everywhere I go, I meet people who are tired, searching and thirsting for authentic joy. Because deep in each person’s soul, we long to connect to their sacred roots. We want to encounter God.

Friend, my name is Bo Sanchez, and I’d like to invite you to encounter God in a beautiful 16-Day Pilgrimage starting September 23, 2025.

Each of my pilgrimages is a “traveling retreat” where you commune with God in the most beautiful holy places, while enjoying the company of wonderful friends.

You’ll encounter God in three ways...

1. Mama Mary

Mama Mary will always lead you to Jesus.
She will never rob the glory of Jesus but will always point to Him.
She is the follower of Jesus, and calls you to follow Jesus too.
I’ll take you to Fatima and Lourdes, two of the most miraculous places in the planet. We’ll also go to Banneux and Beauraing and La Sallette—all Marian apparition sites. We’ll also go to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.

Even if I’ve visited these gorgeous places before, I love going there again and pray there together.
In these charming towns, Mary draws us closer to Jesus in a way that no preacher, evangelist, priest, or pastor can.

Just seeing the thousands of pilgrims there is an incredible experience that will take your breath away. You’ll feel God’s presence there in a very palpable way. And through the years, many sick people have been healed in the waters of Lourdes.

2. Fellow Saints

People need heroes. We all do.
That’s why people flock to watch Spiderman, Batman, and the Avengers.
But unlike these “figments of the imagination”, the Saints are my real-life heroes. They’re my “heavenly cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1) surrounding me, inspiring me to run towards Jesus.
You can tell yourself, “If they can do it, so can I!”

We’ll visit their hometowns. We’ll visit where they served God in their ministry. I know you’ll be inspired.

3. Beautiful Places

Travel to the most exquisite places.
Be surrounded by the grandeur of nature or the majestic beauty of a 700-year old Cathedral.
In these amazing places, you’ll encounter your Maker, the Greatest Artist of the universe.

Join me for this beautiful 16-Day “Traveling Retreat”.
We leave September 23, 2025.
And just in case you’re wondering, YES, we'll have truckloads of fun too. The entire pilgrimage will be a transformational experience that you’ll actually ENJOY!

To download a “Fact Sheet” from our travel agency (the specific places where we’ll be going and the costs for the pilgrimage) just click on the link below. This will give you an overview of what will happen.
It also contains our travel agent’s email and contact numbers so you can reserve a seat for our Pilgrimage 2025.

Today is the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord.

The angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary.

And coming to her, he said, “Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you.” But she was greatly troubled at what was said and pondered what sort of greeting this might be.

Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father, and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of his Kingdom there will be no end.”

But Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I have no relations with a man?”
And the angel said to her in reply, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. And behold, Elizabeth, your relative, has also conceived a son in her old age,
and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren; for nothing will be impossible for God.”

Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.”

Then the angel departed from her.

~ Luke 1:26-38

Prayer

"We beseech thee, O Lord, pour thy grace into our hearts; that, as we have known the Incarnation of thy Son Jesus Christ by the message of an Angel; so by his Cross and Passion we may be brought unto the glory of his Resurrection; through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

The breakthrough that happens is a continuous unfolding and expansion of consciousness in love. In our spiritual life, and that means in our life as a whole because life is a spiritual journey, we don't have a spiritual journey that we have to fit in to our busy life, life itself is a spiritual journey but we need to cultivate those conditions which allow the good soil to bear fruit, just as we need to do that in a vegetable garden or in a farm. Like planting vegetables or flowers, meditation is a natural process. Meditations is as natural to our spirit, that means to our essential nature, to our true self, as breathing is to the body.

His Eminence Jose Cardinal Advincula has released the Oratio Imperata for the Nation, calling on the faithful of the Archdiocese to unite in prayer amid the challenges our country faces.

Let us come together in faith, seeking peace, truth, and healing for our nation. May our love for country rise above all divisions, and may God guide us toward justice and unity. 🛐

MOMENTS by Fr. Jerry Orbos, SVD

A humble and grateful life

The story is told about a parishioner who asked the priest the directions on how to go to Heaven. The priest’s simple answer was: “Turn right, and go straight.”
—————–
In today’s Gospel (Luke 13: 1-9), the Lord reminds us that if we do not repent, we will perish, and if we do not bear fruits, we will be cut down. We are all called to live righteous and meaningful lives. We are all just passing by in this world. May we not scatter hurts and wrongdoings, rather may we leave behind lots of goodness, hope, and loving.
—————–
We reap what we sow. Input equals output. We all can make a choice on how we live our lives. Other people can help us, give us a break, so to say, but in the end, it is we ourselves who make or break ourselves.
—————–
The more we are humble, the less we tumble. A lot of people never get to live meaningful and fruitful lives because, they are so focused on themselves and so filled with pride. They spend their lives overthinking, overhurting, and overfighting.
—————–
OVERTHINKING. Thinking is good, but overthinking is not, because it can lead us to spend our lives just thinking, and not living life at all. There are many things we cannot explain or truly understand, so this is where our faith comes in. We must learn to let go and let God, trust Him, and “lean not on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5) It takes humility to have faith. Without faith we could end up sleepless instead of having a good night rest.
—————–
OVERHURTING. The heart is the seat of joy or pain. The heart is powerful, as it can lead us to “deep loving,” and also “deep hurts” beyond understanding. Heavy heart is a heart that is wounded and angry. This is where humility and forgiveness can give rest to a tired and heavily burdened person. It is not easy to forgive, but it is more difficult and tiresome to continue hurting and be burdened by revenge and ill feelings.
—————–
OVERFIGHTING. To fight for one’s rights is part of our lives, but to live believing that one is always right, or better than others, is not only wrong, but burdensome as well. When we humbly accept that others have rights, and others can be right, too, then we end up living a life that is not stressful, vain, and proud. When we learn to stop, step back, and step aside, life takes on a new meaning, and we finally start growing.
—————–
Gratitude is the cousin of humility. A humble person knows how to be grateful, and a grateful person is a humble person. May the Lord, help us live more grateful lives, and do away with unproductive and useless complaining, comparing, and blaming attitudes.
—————–
STOP COMPLAINING. Focus on your blessings, not on what is missing. There will always be reasons to complain, but we can always instead choose to stop complaining about everyone and everything. Complaining is a useless, endless, and fruitless undertaking. Count your blessings!
—————–
STOP COMPARING. Life is unfair. Be that as it may, we can still choose to focus not on what others have or don’t have. The “Desiderata” said it so well: “If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater or lesser persons than yourself.” Instead of ranting about “fair share,” why don’t you just busy yourself with “sharing fair”?
—————–
STOP BLAMING. A person who keeps blaming others (and even God) for his/her fate ends up living an angry, miserable, empty, and fruitless life. A blaming person ends up with a bag full of excuses, lies, and regrets. In life, as in tennis, blame not your racket nor the wind for every point lost or gained.
—————–
Here is a beautiful prayer I want to share with you: Heavenly Father, please make my days useful, my nights restful, my home peaceful, and my efforts fruitful. Amen.
—————–
As we journey through life, let us not forget God, and His commandment to love. Let us hold on to righteousness, and not be dismayed with the wrongdoings around us. Stay good. Be humble. Be a giver. God knows the score. God sees it all.
—————–
A moment with the Lord:
Lord, help us to live humble and grateful lives. Amen.

Bro. Bo, Fr. Mark, and our pilgrims have arrived in Syracuse, Sicily, Italy. They celebrated Mass at the Sanctuary Basilica of Our Lady of Tears (Madonna delle Lacrime), a revered Marian shrine marking the miraculous weeping of a plaster effigy of the Virgin Mary in 1953.

Their pilgrimage continued with visits to the Crypt of the First Cathedral, the Fountain of Diana, and the Church of St. Philip the Apostle, where they gathered once more for the Holy Mass.
