"THE SARIMANOK"
The legendary bird Sarimanok originated from the rich and historic Maranaoan culture of Southern Philippines. Its cultural significance has stood through the years that until now, the symbol is used in different emblems and standards of Philippine sultans, dignitaries, and pillar institutions. Above being a symbol of Philippine culture, the sarimanok is a bird which signifies trav
el. Moreover, the sarimanok imbeds itself in colorful lore which associates it not just the clouds, but to the land (as a handsome lad), and in the sea (depicted as a fowl with a fish in its beak). With the sarimanok being the emblem of Tours Connect, it shows that the company is ardent in serving its customers the elite experience in Philippine travel – on soil, sea, and sky. "SARIMANOK LOGO"
The Tours Connect logo depicts a sarimanok in dominant red background – color of passion. The three major tones (red, blue, yellow), aside from being colors of the Philippine flag, symbolize the soil, the sea, and the sky, respectively. The bird vector extends outside the borders of the logo box to symbolize freedom and fluidity. The letters ‘T’ and ‘C’ which stands for ‘Tours Connect’ are imposed as part of the sarimanok’s neck. Also, to give reference to the mother company – Ephesus Travel and Tours – a letter ‘E’ serves as the head motif of the sarimanok imposed in front of a tone similar to that of the Ephesus’ logo.
