REST IN PARADISE, MALI 🥺

Mali, the elephant in Manila Zoo, has died, Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna announced in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

The necropsy report revealed that the congestive heart failure caused the death of the resident elephant.

Mali has been Manila Zoo's resident elephant since 1981. The elephant was sent as a gift by Sri Lanka to the Philippines.
