SAUD BEACH
The Ilocos Region in the Philippines includes the two provinces of Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur. Perhaps the most beautiful and relatively untouched destination in Ilocos Norte is Pagudpud.
The area known as Pagudpud is a gorgeous place that is rich in thick gungle wildemess, magical white sand beaches, and a friendly locals. One beach that has caught the attention of adventure seekers, backpackers, and people who just want a relaxing holiday is the incredible Saud Beach. This beach has been dubbed ": The Boracay of the North " because of its perfect white sands and picturesque blue waters, but this gem of the Philipppines is what Boracayused to be before the commercial tourism took over.

The Chawa View Deck features rolling green hills, rock formation ,and a panoramic view of the seascape. There is also a cave of the Virgin Mary and a few concrete chairs for the visitors located at the top of the view deck.

The Iloilo Airport in Cabatuan town is set to accept INBOUND commercial flights from Metro Manila.

Check out these handy reminders before you book a flight!

✈️ WHAT AIRLINES?
📌 Air Asia, Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines
📌 Each airline could have twice-a-week flights to the Iloilo Airport, according to CAAP Iloilo chief Manuela Luisa Palma.

✈️ WHO WILL BE ALLOWED?
📌 For the time being, only 1,500 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and locally stranded individuals (LSIs) from Manila would be allowed to return to Iloilo every week.
📌This number of passengers would be equally divided among the three airlines.

✈️ SEATING CAPACITY?
📌 Defensor agreed to set the cap – 1,500 – on the number of weekly air passengers to avoid overwhelming the quarantine facilities of local government units.

✈️ WHEN WOULD THESE INBOUND FLIGHTS RESUME?
📌 Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. said he would first issue an executive order either before this week is over or early next week.

📌 The executive order may also include requirements that can be demanded from passengers before they can be issued plane tickets, added the governor.

📌 Defensor required the airlines to provide the provincial government with passenger manifestos two days before their flights./PanayNewsExplainer

Advisory❗ | IloIlo International Airport Philippines

▶️▶️ The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines in Iloilo (CAAP-Iloilo) is unsure when would commercial flights resume at the Iloilo Airport. Commercial flights to and from Iloilo were suspended in March this year when the community quarantine was enforced to curb the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). CAAP-Iloilo terminal supervisor Art Parreño tol told that they extended to June 15 the NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) reiterating the closure of the airport.

▶️ This was in line with Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr.’s Executive Order No. 128 restricting travel – including air travel – in the province until June 15 which is the last day of the modified general community quarantine against the spread of COVID-19, said Parreño. Should commercial flights resume, he said they should prioritize returning overseas Filipino workers and locally stranded individuals. He also said, “As of now, we don’t expect any tourists.”
Iloilo province continue to receive returning Ilonggo overseas workers stranded in Metro Manila via sweeper flights landing on the Iloilo Airport and sea vessels docking in Iloilo City. EO No. 128 prohibits the entry to Iloilo of people from other regions until June 15, except returning Ilonggo overseas workers and returning Iloilo residents who got stranded in other areas due to the quarantine. Also, aside from sweeper flights, the other flights allowed at the Iloilo Airport are only those transporting the following:
* health workers responding to emergency
* members of the Philippine National Police and all branches of the Armed Forces of the Philippines
* persons travelling for urgent medical reasons
* persons traveling into the province on common carriers and/or transport for the conduct of trade, delivery of social / humanitarian services, fishing / marine activities, scientific / academic pursuits, and such other essential purposes, other than carriage of passengers

▶️ CAAP-Iloilo’s Parreño, however, said the Iloilo Airport is prepared anytime the commercial flights would resume. It now has physical distancing markers and has designated hand-washing and decontamination areas. When commercial flights finally resume, Parreño said, people should expect airlines to reduce their passenger flight capacity so as to ensure physical distancing in airplanes, and even the frequency of flights.

Baguio, on the Philippines’ Luzon island, is a mountain town of universities and resorts. Called the “City of Pines,” it’s particularly popular in summer due to unusually cooler weather. At its center is Burnham Park, with gardens and a lake. Nearby, Baguio Cathedral, completed in 1936, has a rose-hued exterior. The main thoroughfare is Session Road, lined with shops, restaurants and entertainment options.
