MAPSWIPERS Needed!

Let us help in locating buildings and settlements in Negros Island affected by the Mt. Kanlaon Volcanic Eruption for faster response to affected communities!

How to help in the mapping:

1. Download and Install MapSwipe:
Visit your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS).
Search for "MapSwipe" and download the app.
Install the app on your mobile device.

2. Create an Account (Optional):
You may need to create an account to participate in mapping tasks. Follow the on-screen instructions to sign up using your email address or social media accounts. You may also link your OpenStreetMap Account!

3. Launch the App:
Open the MapSwipe app on your mobile device.

4. Search for the Project.
Look for Kanlaon Volcano Eruption 2024 - Negros Island (1)

5. Learn the Task:
Each project will have specific instructions on what you need to map. For this one, please locate tiles with buildings or settlements. We will soon launch Tasking Manager projects to digitize and draw these identified areas.
