‼️GOOD NEWS! Cebu Provincial Governor Gwen Garcia announced, regardless of age, anyone can visit any tourism sites in Cebu since the Province is already in a Modified General Community Quarantine. 😮🙌🏻🙏

Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia announced last Friday, October 16, that there are no age restrictions and no travel documents needed (except for proof of confirmed booking) for tourists who wish to visit Cebu’s tourist spots.

Guests are required to present their confirmed booking at hotels and resorts upon embarking at the ports. These confirmed bookings will also serve as requirement for the purchase of the two-way boat ticket in going to the island tourism sites.

The Provincial Tourism Task Force considers the two-way ticket as proof that their visit is tourism in nature and thus differentiates them from Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs), Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APOR), and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) or repatriated Filipinos and or seafarers.

Governor Garcia also announced Bantayan Island’s tourism reopening. So PWEDE na mag Bantayan! 😍🏝️

The canyoneering activity in Kawasan Falls includes a 10meter and a 15meter jump!

It is definitely not for the faint hearted! It's not mandatory though, so no worries! You can choose to walk down the river passage, easy.

Would you do it?

I only did all the jumps once but I think after this pandemic, I'll be more than happy to do it all over again!😍

That's why this month of July in celebration of Plastic-free efforts all over the world, let's remember how plastics threaten the world's marine life.

What can you do?
Say no to single-use plastics! It's hard to do in the beginning but it becomes easy eventually as you go along getting used to bringing your own bag when shopping, your own straw & cup for that frappé, and even using diva cups for menstruation!☝🏾

Start bringing your own sterile utensils with you when dining out! How sure are you that everyone who touched that didn't touch contamination? Yes, they're wearing gloves, but what else did they touch with those gloves, huh? Canyoneering in Kawasan Falls is an awesome trekking activity in Badian, Cebu! We travel down streams and creeks along the beautiful river of Badian through its canyon! It's a 4-6hr activity that solely depends on your own pacing. We'll walk, climb, float and jump into the Gatorade blue waters of Kawasan Falls!🏞️

We're provided with full safety gears by the canyoneering team that I pair with. Helmets, life vests & even water shoes!🥰

Do you recognise this lil' buddy in the photo? This is one of the many green sea turtles in Moalboal, Cebu!

It's Plastic free July!!! Although we all know that it should be plastic-free every month, right?😉

Our beautiful underwater friend feeds on jellyfishes. But this creature can't recognise plastics from jellyfishes! And if there are more plastics than jellyfishes in the ocean, then these green sea turtles are at risk!⚠️

As visiting tourists, our responsibility is not only to NOT TOUCH them but also to pick up plastics floating in the ocean when we see one☝🏾

One small act goes a loooong way!💚
