Have you ever tried to take a ride down this splendid main road of Barangay Mabayo; breathing in that cool fresh air coming from towering trees and rice fields? And as you pass by, you will get thrilled with an overlooking view of sea, hills and mountains and such arch shaped trees giving shade to commuters; well, that will always be an enchanting experience!
Passing this ancestral road, seeing familiar vehicles of my kababayan; it makes me feel really at my hometown captivated by its unique beauty and charm!

You can wake up now because September is about to end.
Give yourself a little pat on the back because you made it through—yet again and a reassuring smile because you will continue to. Congratulations on surviving another month!
As tomorrow begins another month, we hope that you continue to see the beauty in waiting and trying, seek greatness within yourself, and hear nothing but good news. Let us wish that October will bring warmth and brightness. It's time to make October your month.
You have learned so much and done your best this September. See you around when you come home. Morong has been waiting for you!

Nothing beats an early morning trip with a view like this.
I am not a morning person, and never will I be — but at times like this when I have no choice but to wake up early, I look through the window of the bus I am riding and look at the forest.
There is really something in the forest; all my senses start to walk in positive ways. The low sunlight pokes through the trunks, and as it slowly picks up, everything starts to strike its colors. When I look at the forest, I’m immersed in the sights, sounds, and smells. It’s like a sanctuary for my mind, where I can listen to its natural voices and drift off to sleep.
A nice perk living away from the city, but for now, I have to say goodbye.
Until next time.

I was used to only praise myself and recognize my huge achievements and victories forgetting my small wins most of the time. Along the way my small achievements always slip through my mind because I don't celebrate them, I do not consider them as something worth honoring. But during the times where I feel most pressured, and everything feels so heavy, it's really helping commending yourself for doing something seemingly unimportant.
You are not just celebrating the achievement itself but your efforts as well — that even in your lowest, you still try to do these 'small' things just like how I tried to get out of bed today and struggle to take a small walk. Maybe the earth knew that it took me so much strength to get up today so it rewarded me this beautiful sunset.

Have you ever heard of the phrase 'What goes up must come down'? because lately I have been thinking about that. When you think about it, it's literal meaning is what goes up in the air will eventually fall back down due to gravity but aside from that, I believe that it also signifies something about life.
Life gives and takes away just like how these waves move forward and backward from the shore. Life gives good things but not good things alone, it also gives us pain, sorrows, and losses. It doesn't guarantee us a perfect and smooth journey and that's just how it is and will be whether we like it or not. Life doesn't care about us living our best life, what we deserve, or even what we truly desire. Life is just being what life should be.
So wherever you are now, I hope whatever state you're in, you're keeping this in your mind. That life is just how it is, and eventually will try to find its balance. Remind yourself that its not about claiming the good and avoiding the bad, it's always about discovering yourself — what you want to do, your peace and power to have a life you've always wanted; and the strength to battle the ups and downs of life.
Sometimes life is hard, but God is always good. Life can be difficult but God is great!

I've been having a lot of thoughts in my head lately. One of them is the fact that people are meant to be in many places in their lifetime. We arrive at new places and leave old ones. We meet new people and leave some behind in the process. The world is too big for us to stay and get stuck in one place.
As for me, I have no idea where life will take me, but I am at peace knowing that it's going to be at a place where I continue to live my life, create purpose, dream some more and chase after them.
Life is truly an adventure. I pray that wherever I'll be, there's always gonna be bright sunlight to greet me 'good morning's and a pretty sky and horizon to bid my goodbyes to at the end of each day. I would definitely look forward to that.

It rained yesterday, and nobody expected it. After days of scorching heat, it was a pleasant surprise!
I love the sight of rain falling on the sea, especially when it is in full force. The smell, the scenery, and the nostalgia. Isn't it beautiful to look at? Isn't it wonderful to run and dance in the rain?
However, because it came as a surprise yesterday, I'm sure many of us didn't have time to walk outside because we were too preoccupied with the things we have planned for the day.
Some were busy at their office, some were working at home. Students were too focused on their online classes, and some were probably just busy on their phones. I wonder if there’s any of us who were excited and delighted to the rain’s sudden visit. I wonder if there’s any who stopped what they’re doing and proceeded to their routine on rainy days. Did any of you read a book? made a coffee? painted an artwork? cooked soup? took a good sleep and listened to good music? or did someone really go outside and watch the sunset like what I did?
I wonder what you did yesterday, could you tell me?

As days evolve into weeks of seclusion, many of us are feeling further disconnected from our daily lives. In a world under lockdown, not only are our habits interrupted, but so are our relationships. Fortunately, distance does not have to entail disconnection.
Taking care of one's mind and finding calm in every situation are extremely beneficial. Our relationships strengthen when our mental and emotional health improves.
Mindfulness is one technique for quieting the mind, slowing down, and embracing the present moment. Being mindful is being present in the moment and aware of your surroundings, as well as being open, attentive, and honest about your thoughts. You can manage your consciousness and access your senses by practicing mindfulness. You have the ability to slow down and reset your body and mind so that they can serve you better.
While mindfulness can be practiced in the company of others, it is also necessary to be present with oneself. In a noisy, hectic environment, understanding how to regulate our emotions and discover our own inner calm is essential for performing at our best.

Two days to go! Noche Buena's just hours away! Can you already feel the spirit of Christmas?
As everyone is getting busy preparing for the night's special occasion, do not forget that the true spirit of Christmas is not about the grandiosity of our homes or about how bounteous the food is on our tables. It is about how we welcome joy and foster love. That's the abundance in life we should all aim for.

Four days to go!
They say Christmas is for kids! So, we’re pretty sure you’ve heard Christmas carols performed by kids this year. We like to see us getting back the Christmas we used to have!
The most memorable Christmas days are usually the ones we spent during our childhood. As it was fun being the ones who receive gifts when we were young, we hope that we all still find happiness in giving and sharing our blessings with one another. What is Christmas without love and generosity, anyway?
