Essential travelers must present valid documents and comply with travel requirements by their respective Local Government Units.

For Non-Essential travelers coming from and going to Manila with existing flight bookings with a departure date from March 22, 2021 to April 04 2021, AirAsia offers enhanced flexibility options to move their flight from April 05, 2021 to June 30, 2021 and will be able to select from a range of extended flexibility options for future travel.

Options available for guests with flight bookings cancelled by the airline are detailed below:

Credit account: Retain the value of the flight booking in the guest’s AirAsia BIG Member account for future travel with AirAsia to be redeemed within 730 calendar days (2 years) from the issuance date. Tour guide Japhet Daco says he was amazed on how crystal clear the lake was when he saw it last week.

Daco just returned to work four months after Luzon was placed under lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Palawan is still under modified enhanced community quarantine. Only locals are allowed to visit tourist sites in the province.

“Hindi po namin ma-explain ang kasiyahan. Tapos po when we get there, mga 30 minutes po naming hindi ginalaw ang tubig sa sobrang ganda. Experience was priceless, yung feeling ko mga 20 years ako nahiwalay sa pamilya ko na sobrang saya,” Daco tells CNN Philippines.

AirAsia remains steadfast in supporting government efforts to effectively manage the public health situation.

We are currently coordinating with aviation authorities on how flights will be affected by the government's latest decision to revert some areas, including NCR, to MECQ until August 18.

For now, flights will proceed as scheduled at least for August 3.

Guests with affected flights will be sent timely notifications through email and text. We urge guests to update their contact details in their bookings online to ensure they receive our notifications.

Airlines have scheduled commercial flights at 18 airports in the country after Local Government Units (LGUs) allowed the commercial operation of the airports in their respective areas.

Some airports, while allowing commercial flights, are subject to different documentary and passenger LGU restrictions.
