📍 TRAVEL NEWS UPDATE

Air France is set to relaunch its direct flights between Manila and Paris starting in December 2024. This marks the return of the non-stop route after a 20-year hiatus.

The flights will be operated on an Airbus 350-900 aircraft, featuring three cabin classes: Business, Premium Economy, and Economy. The journey will take approximately 14 hours.

The direct service will run three times a week starting December 8, 2024. The flight schedule will be as follows:

✈️ AF208 (Paris to Manila): Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays
✈️ AF209 (Manila to Paris): Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays

The airline anticipates that the direct route will significantly boost trade, tourism, and exchanges between the Philippines and France, as well as with the European Union.

Exciting news for those planning a trip to the United States!

The US Embassy in the Philippines has announced the opening of a new Visa Application Center (VAC) at Parqal Building 8, Level 3, Parqal Mall in Parañaque City.

Effective September 28, 2024, all immigrant and nonimmigrant visa applicants seeking interviews will be required to schedule a separate appointment at the VAC for biometric capture (photo and fingerprints) prior to their interview at the US Embassy on Roxas Boulevard.

Applicants who have already scheduled visa interviews before September 28 will not be affected by this change and can proceed directly to their appointments.

The new VAC will be open from 7 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday, and from 7 AM to 11 AM on Saturdays. Appointments must be booked through the redesigned online appointment system, accessible via the US Travel Docs website.
