Hagahag Mountaineers successfully conducted the 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 of 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒈 last June 8-9, 2024 at the Consocep Nature Park. ⛰️

We welcome the 𝟭𝟬 pledgees who are now full-pledged 𝗛𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀. They have shown the skills and values that the organization requires as they have progressed from the trainings of 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙈𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚 up to the practical tests such as 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥, 𝙣𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, etc. especially most of them are already enthusiasts. ⛺️

It was also a productive weekend that the group has initiated a 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 activity to preserve our rain forest for the next generation. 🍃

Mt Putianay last weekend this amihan season! We thank the mountains for providing us with a quick clear and beautiful weather window. It was cold overnight, especially in the morning. The views were spectacular and the conditions were ideal for a summer ascent.

Maray na Aldaw Bicolandia!!! D***s po ang samo COTS extractions sa maabot na Nov. 23-27, 2022 sa Fish Sanctuary kang Bagolatao, Minalabac, Cam. Sur. Sa ngaran po kang samong grupo, gusto mi po magpasalamat sa mga tao asin sa mga ahensya na nagpa abot tabang sa samong proyekto, dawa medyo kapos po kami sa aspetong pinansyal sa pambakal nin mga materyales na gagamiton sa extractions, alagad mayo po samong makakapugol na ipadagos ining proyekto. Kung isay po gusto mag atendir sa samong COTS extractions asin coastal cleanup, kamu po ay welcome. Mag message na lang po sa page na ni or magduman na lang po sa samong HQ sa atubangan po yan mismo kang Bagolatao Fish Sanctuary. Magtarabangan po kita na maisalvar ang satong reef asin ang karagatan.

Hagahag Mountaineers would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and congratulate the organizers for the success of the recently concluded 35th MFPI Midyear Climb and Presidents Meeting last October 21 - 23, 2022 held at The Campsite, Brgy Amtic. Ligao City, Albay.

It has been a fruitful and memorable 3-day event as it covered good deal of events such as Basic Mountaineering Course, Advanced Mountaineering Course (SRT), Wilderness First Aid, Bikepacking Basics, Bird Watching Clinic, Talk on Philippine Mountaineering History, LNT Awareness, Presidents Meeting, Mt. Masaraga Climb, Skills Olympics and FELLOWSHIP NIGHTS!!!

Sa Trenta y Tres na taon kang pagiribanan kan Hagahag Mountaineers, naipahiling ang satuyang kusog na atubangon an mga kasakitan na satuyang inaragihan sa dalan nin paguswag.

Nalampasan nin huli sa pagkasararo, na satuya man na iniheras sa mga parehas tang paratutukad asin man sa satuyang komunidad.

Satuya ining tigcecelebrar bilang pagpapasalamat sa paagi kan mga aktibidades na maogma asin may kabuluhan.

Sa pagcelebrar kaining makasaysayang
katupadan na lampas 3 dekadang bilang propesyonal na paratukad asin igwang makusog na iribanan, orgulyo kan Hagahag an pagorganisar kan MFPI-Bicol Gathering ngonian na taon na ginibo sa Panicuason kang nakaaging Sept 10-11, 2022. Ini tigatendiran kan manlaen laen na grupo nin mga paratukad sa bilog na rehiyon nin Bicol - Hagahag Mountaineers bilang host kan selebrasyon, ini pigpartisiparan kang CAMSUR Adventure, CAMP ONE Inc, ORYOL Outdoor Group, AHON Outdoor Group, IRIE Mountaineers, Feral Society, BUGRES Mountaineers asin Outdoor Addicts. Espesyal man po ang pasasalamat kang grupo sa pag abot kang MFPI Bicol para maki selebrar.

Sa dayupot asin dayaday na iribanan kan mga kapwa Bicolanong paratukad, sa pagkasararo kan mga kapwa tagapag-ataman kan satuyang kalikasan, orog pang napapagayon asin orog pang nagiging prominenteng destinasyon an satuyang minomoot na Bicol.

Liwat magdanay satuya gabos an pagmakulog, asin pagkamoot sa kalikasan asin man sa kapwa hanggang sa utro tang pagtiriipon, hanggang sa mga masurunod pang henerasyon.

Hagahag Mountaineers in partnership with EaSea Camp Freedivers, conducted a BMC (Basic Mountaineering Course) last August 6-7, 2022 at Bagolatao, Minalabac Camarines Sur.

Climb Preparation, Camp Management, Land Navigation, Ropemanship and Outdoor Ethics were amongst the basic and important skills discussed during the activity by manoy Ted Arel and manoy Raul Agrade.

Hagahag Mountaineers has reached another milestone this year for conquering the highest mountain in Romblon, Mount Guiting-Guiting or G2 last July 24, 2022 via Olango Trail as entry point and traversed to exit in Tampayan Trail.

The group has exceeded the expectation from the local guides as the normal 3-day climb has been completed for only 2 days! Power and endurance has made it possible for Hagahag Mountaineers to climb this one of the most difficult and technically challenging Philippine mountain to climb, with 9/9 difficulty.

And as responsible mountaineers, Hagahag observed the "leave no trace" policy and even cleaned up some of the previous hikers garbages on the camp and on trails.

Hagahag Mountaineers will always be true to its values and continue the legacy of adventure for the next generations.
