𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙇𝙉𝙏 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙞𝙣 𝙉𝙖𝙜𝙖 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙞𝙨 4 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙈𝙩. 𝙄𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙜 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 ⛰️🚶

The Naga City Tourism recognizes Lito De Veterbo/ Mister LNT for achieving an extraordinary feat as the First Solo Person to Successfully Circumnavigate Mount Isarog on foot from December 26 to 29, 2024, traversing all nine towns and one city.

This remarkable journey was self-supported, covering approximately 110 kilometers.

Your determination, resilience, and pioneering spirit in completing this incredible journey serve as an inspiration to others and a testament to the grandeur of Mount Isarog and the spirit of exploration.

Day 3 done! Goa to Ocampo on foot – Mister LNT/ Lito De Veterbo is another step closer to circumnavigating Mt. Isarog on foot. ☺️🚶

Despite the downpour, Lito De Veterbo / Mister LNT conquered Day 2 of his Mt. Isarog circumnavigation, trekking from Tinambac to Goa.

Lito De Veterbo aka Mister LNT's epic journey around Mt. Isarog began yesterday from UMA Hotel + Residences to Tinambac! He's aiming to be the first to solo circumnavigate this majestic mountain on foot, traversing all nine towns and one city.

𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙇𝙉𝙏 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙩. 𝙄𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙜 ⛰️🚶‍♂️

Lito De Veterbo aka Mister LNT, a long distance walker, trained mountaineer, a certified outdoor leader and Leave No Trace instructor, paid a courtesy call to Naga City Hall today before commencing his solo circumnavigation of Mount Isarog (December 26-29, 2024).

Mister LNT will be attempting to set the record to be the first person to walk solo around Mount Isarog on foot, first to traverse all nine towns and one city nestled around Mount Isarog, and fastest full circumnavigation of Mount Isarog.

This ambitious undertaking aims to set a new record while promoting environmental stewardship and accessible fitness.

We wish him a safe and successful journey as he brings pride of setting the records on Mt. Isarog while carrying out his environmental and fitness advocacies.

Xandrix Special Bibingka at P**o Bumbong has been cooking and serving bibingka and p**o bumbong in Naga City for more than 20 years?

They are still cooking them traditionally in bamboo tubes and charcoal stove. Their bibingka and p**o bumbong are availble the whole year round not just during Christmas season and been regularly selling them in front of Naga Civic Center.

As Bicol region emerges to be among the tourism powerhouse of the country, Department of Tourism Region V envisions to remind all visiting tourists and homebound travelers on the following tips to ensure safe travel along with practicing sustainable and responsible tourism. Enjoy the most exciting region in the Philippines with these pointers you should never miss for the Christmas holiday season:

1. Always monitor flight schedule status (for air travel), traffic advisories (for land travel), and sea crafts’ availability (for sea travel) to avoid inconvenience before travelling.

2. Check for weather updates from the official social media pages of Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

3. Save emergency hotline numbers and important contact numbers before leaving your homes.

4. Make sure that electrical appliances including Christmas decorations (e.g Christmas lights) are unplugged to avoid unforeseen circumstances.

5. Better pack with first aid kits and enough supply of personal hygiene (anticipate that establishments are packed with Christmas shoppers at this point)

6. Bring your own trash bags for proper disposal of waste, also avoid single-use plastics.

7. Respect local traditions and practices while practicing responsible tourism, such as observing silence in places of faith like churches during Misa de Gallo.

8. It is highly encouraged to engage the services of DOT Accredited tourism enterprises such as accommodations, travel and tour services, tour guides, and other tourism-related establishments.
