Just 10 minutes from the guesthouse, we ventured up Mt. Talamitam! 🌄 This beginner-friendly trail takes about 60 minutes to the summit, with open grasslands and cows and horses along the way. 🌾🐎 From there, it’s another 45 minutes to Mt. Apayang, Talamitam’s twin peak. Despite a typhoon earlier in the week, we were lucky with clear skies and stunning views! ☀️ Just be ready for a bit of mud and don’t forget to climb early or pack sunblock!

Sometimes when we're in the kitchen or dining area, we'll hear the rustling of leaves from the cliffside. It can be startling at first, but when we spot the monkeys looking for bananas or langka from the trees, we try to stay as quiet as possible so we don't scare them away. They're shy and easily frightened by humans... after all, they were here first 🐒🍌🌿
