The Famous And Historical Calle Crisologo

Though only 500 meters long, Calle Crisologo in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, is one of the most beautiful streets in the Philippines. It boasts centuries-old stone houses, lovely tungsten lamps, and antique cobblestone, where horse-drawn carriages or kalesas are still used for transport.

The dancing fountain starts at 7:30 pm and what is so nice about it was that the show is painted against St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral.

Pagudpud welcome arch

Pagudpud is a coastal town located at the northernmost tip of Ilocos Norte. It is known as the “Boracay of the North”, but it has so much more to offer apart from its pristine coastline. Pagudpud's Bangui Bay also features 20 wind turbines, which makes it Southeast Asia's first windmill farm.

Pagudpud meaning soft sandy soil

The elders say that Pagudpud is an old Ilocano word which meant soft sandy soil “kuppuoy” a kadaratan. The majority of the population of its 20,385 residents is composed of Ilocanos, whilst a few are a collection of Apayaos, Bicolanos and Visayans.

Patapat Viaduct Bridge

The Patapat Viaduct, also known as Patapat Bridge, is a viaduct at the municipality of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, a coastal resort town on the northernmost tip of Luzon Island in the Philippines.

The bridge is elevated 31 meters (102 ft) over sea level. It is a concrete coastal bridge 1.3 kilometers (0.81 mi) long, 9.42 meters (30.9 ft) wide,[1] and connects the Maharlika Highway from Ilocos Region to Cagayan Valley. The viaduct was constructed by Hanil Development Co. Ltd. under the overall management of DPWH-PMO-PJHK and was completed and opened to traffic in October 1986. It rises along the town's coastal mountains, which is the starting point of the Cordillera Mountain Range that snakes through Northern Luzon. It is the 4th longest bridge in the Philippines.

Blue Lagoon is one of the many isolated beaches of Pagudpud. It is located in Maira-ira point, the northernmost tip of mainland Luzon. The cove is strewn with white pebbly sand. When it's not surf season, the waters off the coast can be very gentle and still, reflecting the blue sky, earning its name.
