THE VIBRANT ODIONGAN PROJECT: TAD's SUMMER 2019 CAMPAIGN 🌞

It has always been my dream to show the world the beauty of my hometown. I feel like I owe it to Odiongan, and to its people, na magawan nang isang malupet na tourism video ang aking pinakamamahal na bayan.

Kaya naman, in celebration of Odiongan's 172nd Founding Anniversary..

The Aries Diaries, now on its 3rd season, proudly presents, in collaboration with Chan Riobuya of Blank Hue, TAD's official Summer 2019 campaign, The Vibrant Odiongan Project! ✨

HOW TO GET HERE?

From Metro Manila, the fastest way to get to Odiongan is by booking a flight ✈️ with Cebu Pacific Airlines to Tablas (Tugdan) Domestic Airport. From there you can take a jeepney or van to Odiongan.

The other way to get here is by taking a bus 🚌 from Metro Manila to Batangas Port. From the port, you can board any of the following shipping vessels 🛳: Montenegro or 2Go Travel (daily trips available). Travel time is between 4-9 hours to get to Odiongan.

The most practical way to go around town is by tricycle or rent a scooter/motorbike 🛵. You can negotiate with the drivers to provide a day's service.

Romblon declared as rebel-free province

The Province of Romblon is now officially declared by the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police as Insurgency Free/Unaffected Province. This declaration states that Romblon has stable internal peace and security.

The Province of Romblon is the first province to be declared in Southern Tagalog, Philippines. Mabuhay ang mga Romblomanon!

Our hearts are filled with sorrow upon hearing the news about the passing of the beloved Municipal Tourism Officer of Calatrava, Sir Guzman Fetalcurin. Our most sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Sir Guzman. We are honored to have worked with him in the development of the tourism industry in our province.

We would like to extend our condolences and prayers to the Fonte family and friends for the loss of our beloved Miss Jo Fonte. Miss Jo was the former designated Municipal Tourism Officer of Banton, Romblon, who placed her dedication, passion and love in fulfilling her duties for her beloved Bantoon. Let's pray for her eternal peace with our Lord Jesus.

Eternal rest, grant unto her, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon her.

May she rest in peace. Amen.

May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Nais po naming iparating ang aming paghanga sa pinakitang disiplina at determinasyon ng ating delegasyon, ang Carabao Festival ng San Jose, Romblon, sa nakaraang MIMAROPA Festival nitong Sabado. Hindi man natin nakuha ang pinakamimithing rurok ng kompetisyon ngunit maipagmamalaki namin na naipakita at naipakilala natin ng tapat at maayos ang ating mga kapatid na Ati sa buong rehiyon. Naging parte tayo ng kanilang laban upang maging ganap ang kanilang pagkilala bilang isang katutubo sa ating probinsya at sa rehiyon. Amin rin pong pinararangalan ang mga mag-aaral ng San Jose Agricultural High School at kanilang punong g**o at kaguruan na ibinuhos ang kanilang buong lakas at kakayahan na kahanga-hanga at dapat pamarisan ng mga kabataan. Ganyundin, ang pinakitang pagkakaisa ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng San Jose sa pamumuno ni Punong Bayan Ronnie D. Samson at ng Municipal Tourism Officers, Bb. Leahlyn Pablo at Bb. Iries Meran, mga Department Heads at empleyado na isang patunay na tapat na paglilingkod sa aspetong kultural ng komunidad. Hindi maisasakatuparan ang ating pagsali sa kompetisyon kung wala ang buong tiwala at suporta ninyo. Taos puso rin nating pinasasalamatan ang paglahok ng ating mga kapatid na katutubo sa patimpalak, ang laban na ito ay alay po namin para sa inyo.

Isang pagpupugay rin sa ating Ginoo at Binibining Romblon, G. Jomery Alonsagay at Bb. Carmela Manoy, sa kanilang manager at ARTO Chairman Mario Mancuyas at ng buong glam team sa pinakita ang kanilang determinasyon sa kompetisyon.

Higit sa lahat, pinasasalamatan natin ang buong suporta at koordinasyon ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa pamumuno ni Governor Lolong Firmalo, ng mga Meyor at kanilang Tourism Officers ng mga bayan dito sa Romblon sa gawaing ito.

IPINAGMALALAKI NATIN NA TAYO'Y NAGKAKAISANG ROMBLOMANON SA BUONG REHIYONG MIMAROPA!

Romblon Islands into a Smart Tourism Destination

To our followers,

The Provincial Tourism Office of Romblon is working with Nomar Maestro in developing an easy and accessible tourism app. The app would serve as a guide for tourists and residents alike to promote Romblon’s cultural heritage, symbolic landmarks and tourist spots.

This survey seeks to know the preferences and the use of technologies of the possible tourists of Romblon Islands.

We are humbly asking to spare some of your time (around 15 to 30 minutes) in answering the survey questionnaire.

The data collected in the survey will be used in an app to personalize and improve the tourism experience of the user.

It is best to answer the survey on a PC or laptop with stable internet connection or a phone that has 4G or LTE connection.
