Please be informed that canyoneering activities and kawasan falls remain temporarily closed due to the rise in water levels and strong currents following recent heavy rains.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) continues to monitor the situation to ensure public safety. Updates will be provided as soon as conditions improve.

We are pleased to inform you that Badian Canyoneering and Kawasan Falls will reopen for all activities today, December 20, 2024. Following the careful monitoring and assessment of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, we have determined that the water levels and currents have returned to their normal state, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

We want to express our gratitude for your patience and understanding during the temporary closure. The safety and satisfaction of our visitors remain our top priorities, and we appreciate your continued support.

Due to the heavy rains experienced yesterday, the Canyoneering River remains unstable. The water level has risen, and the river currently exhibits a muddy appearance. For the safety of everyone, the Canyoneering activity is temporarily closed until further notice.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) is closely monitoring the river conditions to ensure public safety. Updates will be posted regularly by the BADIAN MDRRMO page (https://www.facebook.com/Badian.Rescue).
