Philippine Airlines BID GOODBYE AT PAGADIAN, SAY HELLO TO CAUAYAN CITY, ISABELA

After almost 5 years of service, on January 14, 2025 is the last flight of Philippine Airlines at Pagadian airport PR 2784 leaves Pagadian at 1705H with 58 passengers onboard. PAL discontinue the service due to low passenger volume.
On January 15, 2025, PAL opened the Manila to Cauayan, Isabela route flight will be service daily.

New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. (NNIC) General Manager Angelito Alvarez announced that Terminal 1 will be exclusive to Philippine Airlines (PAL), Terminal 2 will serve domestic flights for PAL and Cebu Pacific, Terminal 3 will accommodate all international carriers, and Terminal 4 will be for AirAsia flights.

Continued Restoration of Services

Cebu Pacific would like to inform its passengers that our technical teams have made significant progress in restoring our systems following the global IT service outage. Automated check-in, booking, and other systems are now operational.

As we return our aircraft and crew to their correct bases, our flight operations continue to normalize, and we therefore anticipate to be able to operate all remaining flights for today.

The safety and comfort of our passengers remains our top priority, and we are closely monitoring the situation to resolve any new issues promptly.

We advise our passengers to continue monitoring the status of their flights.

Affected passengers of cancellations have been informed via email and provided with the following options..

1. Free Rebooking

Rebook without fare difference for travel up to thirty (30) days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date.

2. Travel Fund

Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)

Cebu Pacific is also offering flexible options, which include free rebooking and travel fund, to passengers who wish to postpone their flights scheduled up to July 21, 2024. They may avail themselves of these options through PMs up to two (2) hours before their scheduled time of departure.

Automated check-in, booking, and other systems have been restored but flight operations will take some time to normalize due to yesterday’s outage.

The safety and comfort of our passengers remains our top priority, and we are doing everything possible to resolve any issues promptly.

We advise our passengers to continue monitoring the status of their flights.

To reduce congestion, passengers of cancelled flights are also advised not to proceed to the airport.

PAL STATEMENT / 14July2024

Philippine Airlines flight PR2680 utilizing an 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 NG and which departed from Mactan Airport at 1:44 PM today (July 14, 2024/Sunday) and landed in Busuanga Airport at 2:51 PM -- overshot the runway.

As of 3:40 pm, all 53 passengers and 4 flight crew members have been deplaned safely, with no injuries reported.

We appreciate the patience and understanding of the passengers of flight PR2680 and those affected by the subsequent disruptions.

We are working closely with the airport authorities to restore normal operations in Busuanga.
