The six rock formations (Magasang, Magsapad, Makadlao, Puhunan, Bel-at, and Caranas) in the island can be reached via a habal-habal (motorcycle).

The area where the rocks are is also a protected area. This means that camping, eating, and drinking in the area as well as vandalizing these awesome rocks are all punishable by law.

In addition, each visitor is required to register at the Municipal Tourism Office and hire a tour guide for safety purposes.

Airport authorities have suspended flights to and from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) as ash spewed by Taal Volcano has reached Manila and poses a safety risk for flights.

With this development, Cebu Pacific and Cebgo are cancelling flights to and from Manila beginning tonight until 8:00am tomorrow, January 13. The complete list of flights may be viewed through the Cebu Pacific website (https://www.cebupacificair.com/pages/travel-advisories).

Passengers booked on these cancelled flights will receive a notification through the contact details they provided upon booking. They may then manage their booking through the Cebu Pacific website (https://book.cebupacificair.com/Manage/Retrieve), with the following options:

•Rebook flights within 30 days without penalties
•Refund tickets in full
•Store the value of the ticket in a Travel Fund for future use.
