Movement in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal, also known as Greater Manila area, will be limited further as these will revert to the strictest enhanced community quarantine due to the exponential rise in COVID-19 cases, Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque announced on Saturday.
The ECQ will be effective beginning Monday, March 29 to Easter Sunday, April 4.
Here are the guidelines or rules that should be marked and followed now that these province will be subject to ECQ again from March 29 to April 4, 2021.
1) Stay at home. Movement of all citizens is limited to access essential goods and services, and to work in authorized offices or establishments only.
2) Youths under 18 years of age, age 65 and older, and pregnant women with immunodeficiency, comorbidity, and other health risk should only stay indoors.
3) Enforce curfew from 6:00 pm to 5:00 am. Workers, cargo vehicles, and public transport are excluded from the curfew.
4) Public transport will remain operational in the current capacity and protocols implemented by the Department of Transportation.
5) No need for Travel Pass.
6) Ban all kinds of large gatherings.
7) Hospitals are full operational capacity; health, emergency, and frontline services; drug manufacturers, medical supplies, devices and equipment; agriculture and fishery sector; delivery and courier services for food, medicine, and essential goods.
8) Private establishments (essential goods and services) are 50 % operational capacity; media establishments; and jobs allowed by DOTr.
9) Skeleton workforce is government agencies, and other remaining sectors.
10) Malls are closed except for essential stores (grocery, pharmacy, hardware).
11) Restaurants are limited to take-out and delivery only.
12) Hotels or accommodation establishments are not allowed to operate except those booked as quarantine facility.
13) Leisure establishments, tourist destinations (resorts, beach, etc) are not allowed to operate. As well as sports facilities, and personal care services (spa, salon, etc.).
14) Liquor Ban will be implemented in Laguna province from March 29, following the Executive Order from the Office of the Governor.
