On 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟒-𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, the 𝘝𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘰 𝘐𝘯𝘤. team, led by Ariestelo A. Asilo and joined by experts from the 𝘋𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 (𝘋𝘖𝘚𝘛), commenced a training program for Indigenous Peoples farmers. This initiative focuses on utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) for coffee nursery propagation within the 𝘛𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘨-𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘣𝘰 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘗𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴 community in Barangays Portulin, and Miarayon. While the parents were busy learning about coffee nursery propagation through the help of IoT, the children were equally engaged, discovering the joy of books. The Tourism Office of LGU Pangantucan supported Varacco by providing manpower and transportation. Ms. Lea M. Apal, the Tourism head, graced the morning event and encouraged participants to take full advantage of the learning opportunity to further equip themselves and become farmer scientists. She emphasized the importance of planting good seeds, noting that with proper care, they will yield good fruits. Mr. Ariestelo also introduced an innovative training approach that incorporates engaging game activities, making the learning process enjoyable and easily comprehensible for participants. Additionally, gifts such as coloring books and children's literature were distributed to the parents and their children who accompanied them, adding a thoughtful touch to the event.
