On the way to the island of Panglao in Bohol, you will pass by a small workshop along the highway. Some will not notice it, but if you pay attention you will see the men of Panglao doing their everyday work as Blacksmiths.
Blacksmiths of Panglao are the people responsible for making sharp, hard steel blades that are mainly used for farming and household use. You will see them pound a blazing hot steel in synchronized motion, as if doing a dance move.

Be awed by the rich marine life in Balicasag Island in Panglao, Bohol.

This shot was taken first quarter of 2016, as our guest made a free dive of 20 ft. to the Coral cliff. When she went up, i went close to her and asked what did she see down there. Her response was satisfying to hear.
She said: "wow just wow. This place is so pretty. Thank you for bringing us here."

Bohol Panglao Tour (Bohol Bee Farm)

As a child, I imagined a bee as a tall, cuddly, large eyed mascot that dances round and round to the amusement of other kids. I used to draw them cartoonized buzzing around Sunflowers as well. That's because i never saw a real Bee, much more a swarm of them or a Hive full of these amazing insects.

Bohol Bee Farm is the place where I actually saw and got close to thousands of Bees and a real Bee Hive like the pictures below. (Don't worry, they don't sting)

"The world's smallest monkey" is an often heard slogan. However, it is not a monkey. In truth, its classification is somewhat problematic. Some scientists consider tarsiers to be a taxonomic suborder among the primates."

In fact it is one of the smallest known primates, no larger than a adult men's hand. Mostly active at night, it lives on a diet of insects. Folk traditions sometimes has it that tarsiers eat charcoal, but actually they retrieve the insects from (sometimes burned) wood. It can be found in the islands of Samar, Leyte, Bohol, and Mindanao in the Philippines.

These birds can be seen perched in low lying trees of this island, island caretakers said that these pigeons came to this island and never left. :)

In the underwater world, you don’t have to be the largest creature to be the biggest threat. The stonefish, which reaches an average length of 30 to 40 centimetres and up to 2 kg / 5 lbs in weight, is the most venomous fish in the world having venomous sacs on each one of its 13 spines. Their venom is very toxic and can kill a human being if left untreated. The poision is also extremely painful.
This actual photo by us shows a stonefish in heavy camouflage inside a seawater aquarium. They change colors depending on their environment, and they use that to hide from larger predators and to preys as well for a suprise attack.
A stonefish is very very hard to spot in the water. They're either hiding in coral crevices, half buried in sea floors, or behind a rock. Or they can be found also on beaches as Stonefish are known to be able to stay out of water for a whopping 24 hours! Most cases of stonefish stings are in Australia.
We strongly advise our guests to be wary of these creatures.
DO NOT STEP ON ANY ROCKS and CORALS. They might be there. It is also forbidden to step on any coral, living or dead because its also the number 1 rule when you're in sea.
When diving, stay away from crevices, rocks and corals so that you wont disturb any creatures living there. Maintain a safe distance when taking pictures of corals.
Respect the rules of the sea.
Pick up trash on the go.
