𝟏. 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝. It's actually part of mainland Luzon. However, it is tucked away behind the mountains so getting there by land requires hours of trekking over an almost bare landscape.

𝟐. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐬𝐡 dumped by Mt. Pinatubo when it erupted in 1991! What used to be a rocky coast became a supple, shining piece of paradise that seems to have come out of a crazy beach-lover’s fantasy. Over time, agoho trees (sea pine trees) began growing in its ashen slopes, creating a surreal Boracay-meets-Baguio landscape.

𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐬𝐡-𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐨, but it’s the one that started the tourism wave in the area mainly because it’s the nearest and the most accessible.
