DOMESTIC FLIGHTS to/from MANILA FOR GCQ/ECQ PERIOD

Due to the ongoing restrictions imposed by the Philippine government prohibiting non-essential travel in and out of Manila during the heightened General Community Quarantine (GCQ) and Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) periods until August 20, 2021:

A. FULL OPERATIONS: Philippine Airlines is continuing to operate its normal schedule of services on the following domestic routes:

Routes between MANILA and:
Basco, Laoag, Puerto Princesa, Catarman, Calbayog, Antique, Roxas, General Santos, Pagadian, Zamboanga

Routes between CEBU and:
Bacolod, Clark, Cagayan de Oro, Tacloban, Zamboanga

Route between Zamboanga and Tawi-Tawi

B. REDUCED OPERATIONS: PAL continues to operate on the following selected domestic routes, but with a reduced frequency of flights, for the period from now until August 20, 2021. The PAL flights operating on these selected routes are:

CLOSURE OF CEBU AIRPORT TO INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS FOR 2 DAYS

The Cebu local authorities have announced the closure of Mactan-Cebu International Airport to arriving international flights of all airlines for two days, May 14 and 15, 2021.

As a result, we have canceled the following flight that was originally scheduled to land in Cebu during this period:

-- PR 433 - Tokyo (Narita) - Cebu on May 14

We sincerely regret that we have no choice but to cancel this flight, despite our passengers having already pre-booked and confirmed their hotel rooms for the mandatory quarantine stays in Cebu.

We will reach out to notify affected passengers directly by email or based on other contact information provided. PAL will continue to coordinate closely with government authorities to help our passengers, including cooperation in resolving quarantine and testing issues as necessary.

Affected passengers of these cancelled flights may:

1. Convert your ticket to a Travel Voucher;

2. Avail of unlimited rebooking (no rebooking fee) until December 31, 2021. If you will be completing your travel in the same booking class by June 30, 2021 (or ticket validity, whichever comes first), there will be no fare difference charge;

3. Refund your ticket without penalties.

CERTAIN FLIGHTS TO REGION 6 CANCELED UNTIL APRIL 10

In compliance with the government's temporary suspension of inbound passenger travel to REGION 6 (Western Visayas) from the NCR Plus area, as well as from Cebu and Davao, effective immediately until April 10, 2021:

-- Philippine Airlines has cancelled all flights from Manila to Bacolod, Iloilo, Antique, Caticlan, Kalibo and Roxas cities, until April 10.
-- PAL has also cancelled flights from Cebu to Caticlan until April 10 and from Cebu to Bacolod v.v. on April 9
-- PAL flights from Iloilo, Bacolod, Roxas and Kalibo to Manila, however, continue to operate during this period.
-- PAL flight from Antique to Manila will operate on April 10.

Please be advised that flights to/from OTHER regions, including those from Manila, Cebu and Davao, shall continue to operate during the extension of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) period until April 11, subject to restrictions and requirements imposed by each Local Government Unit.

Allowed to travel to all other Regions within this ECQ period are:

- health/emergency frontline services personnel
- government officials and frontline personnel
- duly-authorized humanitarian assistance actors
- persons traveling for medical/humanitarian reasons
- persons going to the airport for travel abroad
- persons crossing zones for work or business permitted in the zone of destination, and going back home.
- returning or repatriated OFWs and other Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) returning to their places of residence
- locally - stranded individuals (LSIs)

The suspension of travel to Region 6 was announced in a directive from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB), as requested by the concerned Local Government Units (LGUs) and as endorsed by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Should your flight be canceled due to the above restrictions, you may:

1. Convert your ticket to a Travel Voucher (request until June 30, 2021);

2. Avail of unlimited rebooking (no rebooking fee) until December 31, 2021. If you will be completing your travel in the same booking class by June 30, 2021 (or ticket validity, whichever comes first), there will be no fare difference charge;

• Roque recaps President Duterte's public address, says the President has approved the proposed assistance for areas placed on lockdown.

• Roque on private sector importing vaccines: Ang pag-aangkat ay sa pamamagitan pa rin ng tripartite agreement dahil ito ay covered pa lang ng emergency use authorization.

• Sec Roque: Kada pamilya makakakuha ng financial assistance habang ECQ; P1,000 kada individual o hanggang 4 na miyembro ng pamilya. Target of 29M beneficiaries

• Roque: The President allowed the private sector to import vaccines. The importation is still subject to tripartite agreement.

• Roque: The IATF will meet on Holy Saturday to determine whether or not ECQ will be extended in NCR Bubble Plus. The ECQ will be the last resort.

• Roque on whether ECQ in NCR plus bubble will be extended: Pinag-iisipan po ito ng IATF. Sa Sabado, Black Saturday, meron kaming pagpupulong para isapinal.

• Galvez on vaccines to be acquired through COVAX facility: Magkakaroon tayo ng slight delay because of constraint sa global logistics.

• Galvez: There will be slight delay from COVAX due to logistics issue. There are going to be restrictions due to supply availability, but we will follow up the commitment of COVAX.

• Galvez says the AstraZeneca supply will not be delayed. On Novavax, the situation is very fluid.

• Galvez: COVAX supply will be affected but it is temporary.

• Galvez says vaccine supplies "very tight" in the first and second quarter but some countries are more than willing to share jabs.

• Galvez: Baka yung vaccination program in the first and second quarter will be affected by countries prohibiting export of vaccines and raw materials.

• Galvez: There are three suppliers which we believe are not authorized (to supply vaccines). Gov't tapping intelligence arms of the government to go after groups illegally supplying unauthorized vaccines in the market. This poses threats to our vaccination program.

• Galvez: we have asked vaccine companies to police their ranks. So we can be sure that our dealings are on top of the table.

• Galvez: Pag nag-spike at lalong tumaas pa (number of infections)...we will seriously look at the recommendation (to extend ECQ).

• Galvez: Nakita natin, same intervention dapat sa NCR plus.

• Roque on assistance to people in ECQ areas: Yung pinirmahan ni presidente is silent on whether it is cash or in kind... We leave it to local governments.

• Roque on whether the ECQ in NCR plus bubble will be extended: "I would say it's a 50-50."

• Roque: 50-50 pa whether or not mag extend and ECQ beyond April 4. Kaya tayo ng ECQ para maka cope ang hospital facilities.

• Roque: What we can assure, today maiilipat na sa LGUs ang pondo (for ayuda).

• Roque: Ubos na ang Bayanihan 2 (funds for assistance).
