THE WARDEN'S SUMMIT & ITS MARKER
The Warden's Summit and its Marker is located at Cabbo, Peñablanca, Cagayan is a commemorative marker on the historic 1st Tuguegarao City Warden's Duathlon 2015-the FIRST EVER duathlon competition at Cagayan province held on 17 October 2015 organized by BJMP Tuguegarao City District Jail (BJMP TCDJ), Cagayan Valley Sports Unlimited (CAVSU). The said marker sits on
the lot of Cagayan Provincial Board Member Honorable Christian R. Guzman, also a partner in the said duathlon competition( Dr. Ronald Guzman Medical Center & MCNP-ISAP). The said marker was HUMBLY conceived by the ORGANIZERS of the said duathlon event, namely: BJMP Tuguegarao City District Jail (BJMP TCDJ), Cagayan Valley Sports Unlimited (CAVSU), Dr. Ronald Guzman Medical Center, MCNP-ISAP and LGU Peñablanca. The said marker was jokingly conceived for the reason that CYCLIST loves SELFIES and so there must be "something" that must be placed on that DREADED CABBO SUMMIT as a "SELFIE REWARD" to PEDAL MASTERS who endured that dreaded 1.04 kilometer long and 50 meter ascent Cabbo Climb...
The word "WARDEN" in the said marker is GENERIC... Since the said duathlon activity was a humble Community Relations Program of BJMP TCDJ, the word "WARDEN" SYMBOLIZES THE HUMBLE CONTRIBUTION OF OUR HUMBLE PROFESSION---PENOLOGY/CORRECTIONS to the SPORTING HISTORY OF CAGAYAN, TOURISM, ACTIVE LIFESTYLE and GREEN ENVIRONMENT...
NAME IT WHATEVER YOU WANT TO NAME IT, IT IS A FREE COUNTRY, THAT'S THE BEAUTY OF DEMOCRACY...
But for US, the ORGANIZERS of the 1st Tuguegarao City Warden's Duathlon 2015 who endured to make a historic cycling activity in order to boost the sport we all love, its participants and the THOUSANDS of Pedal Masters who endured the climb and took their EPIC/SACRED SELFIES at that wonderful summit, WE SIMPLY CALL IT---- WARDEN'S SUMMIT!!! So next time you climb this summit, take a break, rehydrate and don't forget to take your Epic/Sacred SELFIE as your reward for enduring the climb at the Warden's Summit Marker at Warden's Summit!!!
