A Piper Cub is how I started and learned to fly seaplanes—the rest is history, as they say. My instructors were Richard and Martin, both of whom were real bush pilots. Training was just a side hobby for them. I think this was in the summer of 1994; I'll have to check my logbook ;)

Starting a business is not for the faint of heart. In the beginning, there are no regular clients, no reputation, and the constant worry of making ends meet—paying salaries, rent, fuel… it’s terrifying. Living month to month is a reality I face every day.

But then I pause and reflect on the bigger picture: where we were a year ago and where we are now. There’s progress, no matter how small, and that’s what keeps me going.

It’s scary, but I’ve learned that perseverance is everything. Never giving up, no matter how hard it gets, is the key to growth and success.
