Certified as zero-carbon by the EU-funded Switch Asia, we adhere to ecological practices and provide visitors with unique Filipino experiences We are a small family-run establishment in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, the westernmost province of the Philippines known as the country’s last frontier and voted as the world’s best island destination by Travel and Leisure magazine. ping, camping and relaxing vacation, Tarabanan Cottages is situated 70km north of the city center of Puerto Princesa. It has a great view of the open sea of the Honda Bay. It is a perfect starting point to discover famous destinations in Palawan including the Honda Bay, Underground River (Saint Paul Subterranean National Park), Port Barton and of course, El Nido. We are an eco-friendly establishment certified as one of Palawan's Zero Carbon Resorts by the EU-funded SwitchAsia program. All cottages are built from native materials embodying the traditional Filipino construction that requires less or no energy for cooling. During a family's visit to Palawan, we checked out the Palawan Heritage Center and discovered new information about the province. We thought we knew all about Palawan but the museum has more! especially the WWII history where Palawan played an important role. Palawan Heritage Center is located in the Provincial Capitol Complex, behind the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Building in Puerto Princesa City. You can ask us at Tarabanan for more information!
