To all concerned travel agency , tourist and van transport pls read .

Yesterday, the LGU, MTO Tourism Officer with RHU Health Officer read the new Executive Order regarding Tour Food in a publib meeting to us. Here are the important details.

EO will be effective JULY 1, 2023

1. Tour Operators, Boat Operatosr are NOT allowed to prepare lunch or touch any food, not even slice a fruit anymore (no fruit carving).
2. Tourists may buy a simple Meal from a licensed Restaurant.
3. Restaurant must pack, seal and labeled the meal box with name of Restaurant and a label that must say until when food should be
consumed. Cooked meals should be eaten within 2 hrs. (if 9am cooked/packed - they should consume it prefereably by
11am).
4. Food such as Shell Fish, Tahong are not allowed as they are highly risky.
4. Boat is required to have a Cooling or Heating Box on board for storage of meals.
5. Purified drinking Water in blue containers must be Newly refilled with "Seal" on, to be sure it was purified water from licensed Refill Station.
6. As part of the Clearing Procedure in the Morning, there will be inspection of food carried along.
7. Travel agency is allowed to tie up with a Restaurant for such food services.

Highly recommended are:
1. Reusable Lunch boxes such as Bento boxes as food stays warm for longer and proven safe. (provided they are watched with clean and safe Water) and towel dried.
2. Ask Tourists to bring their own food container when buying take away food at Restaurants.

What is allowed.
1. Resort may have separate food delivery boat to island.
